M.C. Hammer put his entire old neighborhood on his payroll. Then they all dropped him like a hot rock when the money stopped flowing in. Hammer seems like a nice guy. But after he had one huge year he should have acted like he hit the lottery instead of acting like he would be making $40 million every year. He really didn't need a waterfall and bowling alley in his home. And the race horses were one of his lousy investments.
