Great voice, but you definitely need some work in the lyrics department. They were pretty elementary. Maybe go listen to some very old Blue October, 'Consent to Treatment' and get an idea of lyrics that can cut straight to the bone, about the topics that you sing about.

Bet that mom had some issues and problems before the father came along and later ended up out of the picture.
