Besides excellent voice and timbre--really good expression, energy, and timing. The singer sounds beside herself with fury, which is exactly what Der Hölle Rache is all about! A bit more practice and Ms. Boran will knock the socks off an audience, especially if she has an orchestra behind her, or at least a pianist who can play this properly.
