There are some really eye opening photos and footage of the Pentagon right after it was hit. There are things like the size of the hole caused by the plane and smaller clues like wooden desks and books standing intact right next to the outside wall where the plane supposedly made contact that don't add up.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Even in highly scrutinized and controlled scientific experiments there are phenomena that don't quite make sense. MUCH MORE in an event of this monumental scale.

There are some really eye opening photos and footage of the Pentagon right after it was hit. There are things like the size of the hole caused by the plane and smaller clues like wooden desks and books standing intact right next to the outside wall where the plane supposedly made contact that don't add up.

He was clearly saying that he "lived" through the attacks, not Ron Paul. Dr. Paul never says we invited the attacks, he says our policies over many years have caused other countries to resent us.

Well then why did the terrorists attack us o wise one? Was it because they hate freedom? I guess sounding patriotic is more important from a president than acknowledging the reasons people want to attack us. I think if people attack us after we've bombed them for ten years, its pretty safe to assume that the attack was a response to the bombings. There was really nothing unpatriotic about what Ron Paul said.

In many respects I have to nominate this as the best moment in the presidential race 2008. Ron Paul wisely speaking the truth and Giuliani and the other conservatives are devastated that someone could come up with an other opinion which happens to be the truth.
One of the shiny moments which gives me back some trust that there are still candidates of integrity like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.

i remember watching this, and the fox news analyst did nothing but rag on ron paul for what he said. then at the end of the debate, they had a text vote for who you thought won the debate. ron paul had twice the amount of votes as the person who came in second place. i don't mind mccain, but it is very unfortunate that ron paul didn't win the republican nomination. i am generally a liberal, but that doesn't mean i have a closed mind, thats why i am a liberal! i would have voted for ronpaul

Now,the problem with just accepting Bin Laden's words about why he committed 911 is he gives different contradictory reasons;his sympathy for the Iraqis,whom he wanted to fight himself,to the Palestinians,whom he never mentioned till after 911;to just take dictation from your enemies' screeds doesn't qualify you as a leader.His real reason is probably a megalomaniacal desire to be the new leader of a movement to establish Islamic states.

ok at the time of 911,we had a few thousand troops in Saudi Arabia;troops that went along with local customs;there were no protests of the troops there. Bin Laden had no authority from anyone to decide weather US troops should be there ;the sanctions were in place to stop Hussein from rearming;the only alternative would be MORE troops kept in the Middle East in the meantime.the bombing incidences of Iraq in the 90's was usually to protect the Kurds.
