ok they dont play as well and the color will ware off on ur head peice these would only be good for proffeshonal marchers if every flute in the band had on for a kind of flashy extra but over all its a waste of money
NEVER BUY THIS. It is nickle plated. it looks nice, it sounds bad, it tarnishs and it looks like shit really quickly. A REAL flute player knows that silver plated flutes are the only flutes you should buy.
If you're honestly thinking about getting a flute, don't get a coloured one. They don't play nearly as well as a regular silver or gold plated one. The tone is just kinda...weird.

I knew a girl in high school who had one of their red piccolos and it was not that great and had horrible tuning. I would like to note that they are nice to look at or as a lamp. I like how the salesmen was selling the flute but didn't note that every single flute had a split e mechanism.
I'd buy the blue, because it's my schools' colors and all, but I love my flute now. My mom pretty much just finished paying it off after 3 to 4 years of owning it now :| I would be compelled to buy one more if you played it, too.
hmm yeah great to look at , But you are better off buying a good flute for around £300-500. These coloured flutes a cheap and mass produced, made from cheap metals and parts designed to break so you have to buy more ! The tone is rubbish aswell.
they work great i have a blue and gold picc actually it sounds amazing but the paint wears off really fast i got it 2 motnhs ago and some has already just flaked off
