my dog will come up to me and start to bark if idon't have anything for him to do....My dog just knows how to sit!! XD and hes still a puppy so he needs to learn more...he's a germn shepherd

my dog doesn't know how to do this. yet, he CAN spin on his hind legs in a circle. He is a schnauzer. We call it dancing, and sometimes he does it on his own because he loves to so much.

okay so im outside training my bulldog puppy to do tricks and i made this agility jump thing out of 2 chairs and a pool noodle so i try and get him to jump over it but he either puts up his paw and knocks it down then walks over it, OR goes under it XD LOL

My dog knows too many "S" commands.

Sit, stay, stand, sleep, etc. and I think this is confusing him.

Is there another command instead of "spin" i can use?

It did :) but my dog knows another trick "turn turn" and that's for when we dry him off (when we're done with drying one side, he turns so we can get the other)

haha yeah. He's a black lab german shepard. I think i'll teach him to a sound like @whatsupme401 did. I taught him to bark when I made a barking sound so it should work… :D

my dog learned this by herself.. when she wants something she will spin in circles repeatedly until she gets what she wants, if she wants food she will go over to the food dish if she wants water she will be at the water dish if she needs to pee/poo she will spin at the door lol.

or if shes just happy she will spin wherever

I tried that but she doesn't listen to me when her toy is there. She is doing the trick but she doesn't know that she is. She just thinks she's playing a game..I've also tried giving her a treat when she does it by following her toy. But then she wants another treat and stops following the toy.
