  • ey fOO wha kinda calcium powder u use?!?!

  • i keep my leopard gecko on sand because think thats wat they walk on in there natural home

  • Actually you shouldn't keep them on sand, this was years ago, and a mistake. In the wild, they live on hard rock, and clay. not sand.

  • @octavian300 hey in the middle of afganistan and pakistan there is a desert with a half rock-half sand :) i too keem them on half sand and half rockso they can choose :)

  • @chevymuddiger also you shouldn't because they can choke by inhaling the sand. i keep mine on bark

  • Comment removed

  • they havent been kept on sand in over 2 years. lol

  • leopard geckos are awesome i so want to get one are they pretty easy to care for?

Nice names u seem like u care alot for your pets. great vid

  • Defanitly emo

  • u fuckin wierdos...

  • Well, I'm from Germany and here we take a sand-loam mixture, not only sand. Sand is so bad for them!

  • @MyLeopardgecko WTF! is a sand-loam mixture??

  • not to start anything octavian300 just curious as to why you would say not to use sand and that it is bad but then in your video you use it

  • @nonconformist20 never mind forget what i said heard you stopped using sand since video anyways nice healthy looking geckos i have a male adult SHTCTB and a female banana blizzard

  • don't advertize on my videos please, thank you.

  • to save u some money u can put more then 1 leopard gecko in 1 of ur bigger cages unless they are both males then they will kill eachother

  • who cares retared oh ya your not cool ether so stop mkng vids'!

  • so you feed them 2 crickets a day?

  • No Lmfao. 8-10 mealworms every other day, about you're other comment, You're "pet store" is probably petsmart right? If it is. buy from an online breeder, or a real petstore, don't feed those piece of crap chain petstores. also do you're research please. You should know that lepard geckos get around 8 inches as adults, and also how big of tanks, how much to feed etc. Just please google leopard gecko care. Sand is very bad for reptiles. don't use it.

  • @octavian300 wait so 8 to 10 mealworms every other day? but when do you feed them crickets?

  • @octavian300 so the petsmart geckos suck?because breeded ones cost like 120$

  • @kybot75 they dont suck.petsmart buys theirs in bulk from an online breeder too...just select a healthy one.theres always the chance of a sick animal being in a group of perfectly healthy ones...youve just gotta invest some tlc and time into any animal

  • @SxDx1986 oh ok.and can i just put 3 crickets in there a week and let it eat when it wants to eat?

  • @SxDx1986 oh ok.and can i just put 3 crickets in there a week and let it eat when it wants to eat?

  • @kybot75 eh....id feed em like at least 7 a day to keep something in their stomach and maybe let 3 run around the terrarium if you want.youve gotta watch out bc crickets can be nasty feeders if you let them run amock due to the fact that they will bite your lizard and try to feed off of anything in the tank.i bought my two bearded dragons from two different big chain petstores in different areas like petco and petsmart and theyre perfectly healthy.just make sure you dust their food on occasion

  • @SxDx1986 ok thanks :)

  • @octavian300 mine isn't dead so yeah dont cyber attack :p lol

  • @octavian300 are u boy or a girl????

  • @777blowYOURmind777 ....crickets are mostly exoskeleton...you should feed them as many as theyll eat in a 15 min period.reptiles aint cheap but theyre great pets if youve got the time for em...

  • how old are all the leopard geckos

  • I'm sorry, but don't even dare to advertize on my videos.

  • thats a really nice gecko. I have one and it is like 2-3 months old lol its YOUNG. i have a hedgehog and a dog.

  • wish i had a hedgehog...i plan on getting a leopard gecko, but im not sure...

  • yeah, we were planning on getting one and we got one as a early christn]mas present

  • whats the name of this song?

  • I think it's No World For Tomorrow by Coheed & Cambria

  • Its welcome home. by coheed and cambria.

  • oh, whew thank you! It's been bothering me since i commented...i knew i wasn't right

  • where do you get ur crickets?

  • you can buy them at any pets store really

  • thanks! how many do they cost each?

  • if you buy them where i do they cost about 5 dollars for 3 dozen i buy them at pets mart or petco. But dont forget if you buy them at that amount you will need to feed them and water the crickets. Also dont for get calcium suplement that youll dust the crickets in.

  • thanks

  • no problem any other questions just ask

  • Bauwflor. how many reptiles/amphibians to you own?

  • just got a gecko but i got loads of orther animals like fire salamanders

  • is that sand? it is rlly bad for lizards to injest u no. HE CULD DIE!!!!!!!!!!

  • he said on one of the comments that he has carpet and paper towels now.

  • a reptile specialty store. [chameleons]

  • ahhh

  • GET A LIFE

  • I have a life, filled with wonderfull things, and people. You sir need a life.

  • nice geckos

  • i got one of those tube things the bad thing about them is if the crickets get away

  • were did you buy the yellow one

  • octavian, have you had any case of impaction? im getting sand like yours for mine but if you have ill get carpet right away. im not worried but slightly paranoid.

  • No impaction, but i have carpet and paper towels. sand is bad.

  • @MinotaurTank i have sand for my gecko and have had no problems with it as a substrate but if i do get another lizard that needs another tank (aka not a female leo) im gonna use carpet/felt cuz it easier and sand mets to out of place

  • YOU ARE A FAG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • no you a fag.

its nice that a boy of his age is intrested in reptiles and good luck to him in the future

    And Thestick

    GET A LIFE

  • he is a weapon fan as well its pretty cool that he had loads of nice weapons but yea :/

  • hey im not trying to be a jerk but sand isnt in their enviorment so i think tile or reptile carpet is better but you might have changed it.btw nice vids keep em up.

  • pet shop recomend it tho so ..

    there the experts.

  • you should not use sand because if the lizard eats it can get compacted that means it can not poop and it will die

  • not exacily.

    look care fully.

you will see its calcuim sand.

this cant compact it justy goes through them.

normal sand its an other story.

but normaly the geckos with eat minimal sand anyways but what he's using is safe

  • what song was that?

  • yeah dude how many big crickets should i feed my adult gecko?

  • 6 crickets but,

if theres 4 in when you feed it you only put 2 in .

    1=5morein

    2=4more in

    3=3morein

    4=2morein

    5=1morein

    6=0morein

    at feeding time

  • i got one of thos cricket keeper thingys

my gecko trys to get the crickets from the tube

  • whats up with the yellow tongs and hand feeding?......I just let loose 50-60 crickets and allow the animals to hunt...what else do they have to do?

  • letting that many go in a leos cage is dangerous. As crickets can and will bite the animal. I prefur hand feeding, that way i know they are actually eating

  • im gonna get a leopard gecko on thanksgiving i cant wait !!

  • I'm sorry, but don't even think about advertising on my videos. :)

  • sand is bad!!!!!

  • first if i were you i would git rid of the sand

because it looks like your SHTCTB has impaction

  • i havnt used sand for at least ayear and a half, second you dont know what your talking about, because 1 if my gecko had impaction it would be dead now, and its not. second in the video it woudlnt eat. 3rd it would be deathly skinny. please dont leave comments unless you know what your talking about.

  • i meant i could get impaction and that is good the you are not using it any more

  • impaction doesn't start instantly, over a period of time it could happen from the sand build up

  • did u mean his super hypo carrot tail baldy? lol imma start using that but yeah that sand is no good

  • shtctb stands for super hypo tangerine carrot tail baldy.

  • yeah that... lol

  • i got a baby with no tail and were going to petco or petsmart to get food

  • im getting one what should i call it?

  • have you named her yet???

  • cool vid cameron i'm a big fan of your vids. i'm getting my first leo soon

  • u say UM alot

  • way to point out the obvious! do you want a cookie?

  • xD i got myn 3 days ago 41.99 xC

  • what does an avrage gecko cost

  • i got mine for 27.99 at petco

  • petco/ petsmart are an unreliable source for any reptile needs

  • true dat

  • whats the size of the exo-terra thats ontop of your leo tank.(the fist one you feed.)??

    -thanks

  • What do you use for substrate

  • paper towel or repti carpet

  • 40 crikets :D cool

  • hey i think you vids are amazing and im a new lepard geko owner. i was wondering if you feed you crickets any particular food? or do you buy from the store and feed to geko's?

  • It's cute how your leo's have hermit crab sized cages. Mine has a 40 gallon tank. Don't tell me that I know nothing bout leo's wannabe punk rock kid.

  • the rule is 10 gallons per gecko. and i bet your leo feels very stressed alone in a 40 gallonl. thats a bearded dragon sized cage, not adiquate for a leopard gecko. 20 long should be the max size for a gecko alone. hermit crab sized cages? they are all in 10 gallons. why dont you go complain to all the famous leo breeders? they keep their geckos in small tubs.. you had absolutly no reason to go off on me like this.once again,. its NOt what you want. its about the health of the reptile.

  • why do u have sand if u tell other people not 2

  • this is over a year ago. i no longer use sand.

  • I don't really like how tiles or carpet look, I've done some research and people say fine grain child play sand is a good loose substrate because it easily passes through the gecko's digestion system. Any thoughts on it?

  • tbh. its not about what YOU want. its about the health and safety of your reptile. NO LOOSE SUBSTRATES. especially sand. thats bull if they tell you it can pass through their system. because it cant.

  • Lol, it is what I want. I chose the leo, it didn't choose me. Either way, my cousin (who owns one) has been using playsand for the past 5-6 years without incident. Not only that, but I asked the reptile expert at a local petstore is playsand was ok for leo's and he said yes if I blend it in with clay & a cage with mostly rock decoration. You know nothing tbh, and btw repti carpet isn't 100% safe.

  • i know nothing? baha im not getting into ANOTHER argument with a complete moron. search leopard gecko sand impaction on google. the reptile experT? was this a petco? lol. no reputable breeder or expert will tell you sand is okay. any one who knows their stuff will tell you that it causes impaction. i know a whole lot more than most people faggot. i never said you know nothing about leos EVER. and dont call me a wanna be punk rock kid. because i dont even like punk rock dipshit.

  • your a retard

  • and repi carpet has nothing that cant be safe with it. so in fact it is safe. i dont know what dumbass told you it wasnt. ive kept my leos on repti carpet for over a year and no problems. i adopted a gecko from a careless owner who kept him on sand. he required his SAND IMPACTION to be tended on. baths all the time. vet apts. god your dumb.

  • what do you dust ur crickets with for the leopards? i herd dust with D3 can be toxic to them.

  • pebbles? are you kidding. definantly not. no loose substrates. ceramic tile reptile carpet and paper towels.

  • what sand did you use

  • dosnt matter never use sand.

  • what other substrate can you use then apart from paper towels

  • repti carpet, ceramic tile. thats pretty much it.

  • orite thanks

  • i love leapord geckos. i really want one just my parents wont let me :(. looked after friends a few times tho. feeding is great to watch lol

  • Don't be stupid Alyssa, obviously incsects such as locusts and crickets need to be their staple diet, but you CAN feed them pinkie miceand they are not bad for them AT ALL! although they are fatty, they are a good treat.

  • pinkies should never be fed to leopard geckos. not only is it very unhealthy, and not a natural meal. it can damage their esophagus

  • lol i kno u guys were talking about this a week ago but i thought if ur leoprd gecko was very thin or if it was pregnant or something some1 said to feed it pinkies dont start like flaming or w/e thats what i heard i still wouldnt feed mine pinkeys ever though

  • dude, do we need to feed our geckos with veggies once in a while, or is it crickets and insects forever... little help here :)

  • never feed a leopard gecko veggies. they are insectavorious.

  • *showing 5 fingers* "We got four leopard gecko's to feed" :D:D

    I like your vids! :D

  • I like your leo geckos....they're fun to watch
