WT fighters = rarely fight or spar / do lots of nice drills against people not really trying to hurt them / spend lots of time on Chi Sao and traditional BS. Who do you think will prevail in a real fight??? The answer is obvious. People are deluded thinking chin up , funny footwork kung fu can work for real!
done a few seminars and spoke to GMK a few times.. really nice bloke with a wicked sense of humour, ..not just a WT practitioner, but a truly amazing martial artist and physicist in all... I have a lot of respect and admiration for this man.

Wenn WT eine so schwache Kampfkunst wäre, wie hier manche polemisieren, gäbe es dort nicht so viele Lehrer und Schüler mit jahrelangen Erfahrungen in vielen anderen Kampfsportarten. Damit will ich nicht sagen, dass WT besser als andere Systeme sei, doch man kann dem WT nicht seine Berechtigung absprechen. Im Endeffekt hängt doch immer viel von Motivation und Engagement der Schüler ab, egal ob Karate, Judo oder WT.
I feel it harsh that some guys are slating Sigung Kernspecht. He's only messing around with these students, until you've met Sigung Kernspecht or touched hands with him in chi sau, you will not understand the extent of his ability. Basing good kung fu on looks has never been an effective reasoning for judgement.
He's a great guy, an intellectual and a fantastic teacher.

Has anyone from the WT system ever seen a real fight? Happy slapping. There is never a punch thrown. I would like to see these movements work against someone with real intention to harm. I don't think so.

well guyzz i have to say this... i like Wt i was learning Wt for 3,5 years and i have see alot of videos with Gm K.Kernspecht.the point is that i dont like the way he moves and i see that hes style it is not like Leuing T. he is crabing alot and all this staf he is doing.... can someone tell me why he is so deifrend than GM L.T?
@piccolo3593 Yes of course. Learn how to fight by spending the majority of your training doing exercises that are not for fighting. Makes no sense. I hear this all the time, but why not train just fighting techniques? The moment you touch arms with an opponent in a fight is fleeting at best, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.
I recognized the first one who Chi Sao with Kernspecht was Tam Yiu Ming. Pls correct if I am wrong. I've experienced Chi Sao with Tam when he was in HK. Both of them were very relaxed. I'm sure if Tam take it serious to his opponent, anyone in the world will be in big trouble.

@msclitoria One guy is GM kernespecht, so if you dont know who he is in the Wing Tjun world then you obviously lack knowledge of the art. The second Sifu Tam who i learnt from; a very highly respected practictioner known by many, of who also taught a part of the pole form to sergio ladorola
Secondly this is not a demonstration, it is practice. There is no "visible" display of forwards pressures as the use of excessive forwards pressure contradicts Chi Sau principles.

It is SOME Wing Chun people who are brain washed by their instructors that a Wing Chun or WingTsun instructor cannot be a skillful master, produce many great students AND be financially successful. Its just massive jealousy. That's all. And nobody has fought all of the close to a million students that have come out of the Leung Ting family tree so it cannot be said that the Leung Ting system produces bad students - far from it!

that is one thing that boztepe is nice person and has better attitude to students than Kernspecht,and that is another that he needn't to be better,not sure that K. taught everything to Emin.The point is that Si-Fu Máday is better both of them(much better)it's basic that he is more stronger and faster either of them,but more skilled also and knows more of wing tsun too
was a student of kernspecht around 2001 he was for a short period a student of Sifu sergio Iadarola that boosted his skill and understanding of wingtsun considerably.

Simply performing chi-sau with a well known and "celebrity" WT practician can substantially reduce performance due to psychological pressure, this can be further exasperated by the personality traits of that person. I have found the best learning to be from someone who has trained under a high level practician and is highly skilled but still maintains a regular guy personality.
in all of his videos i see that he capitalizes off of peoples bong and tan by shooting over it. he abandons elbow possitioning to do it. a quick ging sau from tan and a go bong from bong sau will put you in the inner gates if you dont stand on ceremony that is. he might get mad though or it may force him to adapt bettering the kung fu on whole. the only way to know good kung fu is to stick to the rules that i happened to learn in VT and personally wear by. personally i havent been proven wrong
well you are wrong and the only reason he does it is very simple....it means that his opponent hasnt the ability nor the sensibiltiy to continue his pressure in the attacking mode...therefore once his energy finishes ie: his circular movement comes to a conclusion KK simply takes advantage of it.Its not that difficult.He doesnt abandon anything its the opponent who has no real pressure

Im not sure...these days eveerybody's point is very different and many people see things differently, GM KK is fundamentally a nice guy and I learn from him a lot so personally when teaching to the mass of people its not always easy to understand completely what one is talking avbouit...this is also true of chinese teaching seeing I have had many private lessons with SiJo leung ting..Europeans have a different mentality and I feel GMKK tries to filter information based on a western approach

Wirklich Stoff vermittelt wird doch nur in den ersten 5-6 Graden. Bei den nächsten 5-6 geht es darum was ein Meister seinem Stil zurückgibt, somit handelt es sich mehr um Ehrengrade. Das wird meines Wissens in allen Stilen so gehalten. Wieviele 8. Dan laufen den herum?
Wer geil auf hohe Graduierungen ist muss halt seinen eigenen Verband gründen, was leider auch viele machen. Soviel zum Thema lebenslang üben.

I don't see a mistake in adding new methods to WC/WT, because the world outside changes too. GT's work had some influence to the creation of Blitzdefence, but it's surely not the same.
Concerning your favourite topic money, strandneuker: Due to the introrduction of BD he lost some of his masterstudents. Further the instructors where taught free of charge in BD. It never caused one cent extra costs to the students.

Has anyone from the WT system ever seen a real fight? Happy slapping. There is never a punch thrown. I would like to see these movements work against someone with real intention to harm. I don't think so.

I hear this all the time, but why not train just fighting techniques? The moment you touch arms with an opponent in a fight is fleeting at best, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.

I recognized the first one who Chi Sao with Kernspecht was Tam Yiu Ming. Pls correct if I am wrong. I've experienced Chi Sao with Tam when he was in HK. Both of them were very relaxed. I'm sure if Tam take it serious to his opponent, anyone in the world will be in big trouble.

@msclitoria One guy is GM kernespecht, so if you dont know who he is in the Wing Tjun world then you obviously lack knowledge of the art. The second Sifu Tam who i learnt from; a very highly respected practictioner known by many, of who also taught a part of the pole form to sergio ladorola
Secondly this is not a demonstration, it is practice. There is no "visible" display of forwards pressures as the use of excessive forwards pressure contradicts Chi Sau principles.

He is teaching the guy how to enter into his throat. He previously explains him how to do it. He did it on purpose and shows very kindly how to do it letting his right arm down for such teaching. Peace!

It is SOME Wing Chun people who are brain washed by their instructors that a Wing Chun or WingTsun instructor cannot be a skillful master, produce many great students AND be financially successful. Its just massive jealousy. That's all. And nobody has fought all of the close to a million students that have come out of the Leung Ting family tree so it cannot be said that the Leung Ting system produces bad students - far from it!

was a student of kernspecht around 2001 he was for a short period a student of Sifu sergio Iadarola that boosted his skill and understanding of wingtsun considerably.

Simply performing chi-sau with a well known and "celebrity" WT practician can substantially reduce performance due to psychological pressure, this can be further exasperated by the personality traits of that person. I have found the best learning to be from someone who has trained under a high level practician and is highly skilled but still maintains a regular guy personality.

in all of his videos i see that he capitalizes off of peoples bong and tan by shooting over it. he abandons elbow possitioning to do it. a quick ging sau from tan and a go bong from bong sau will put you in the inner gates if you dont stand on ceremony that is. he might get mad though or it may force him to adapt bettering the kung fu on whole. the only way to know good kung fu is to stick to the rules that i happened to learn in VT and personally wear by. personally i havent been proven wrong

well you are wrong and the only reason he does it is very simple....it means that his opponent hasnt the ability nor the sensibiltiy to continue his pressure in the attacking mode...therefore once his energy finishes ie: his circular movement comes to a conclusion KK simply takes advantage of it.Its not that difficult.He doesnt abandon anything its the opponent who has no real pressure

although your points are valid, it is far removed from my point. it appears to me that he is spending more time showing off than teaching the proper idioms and form . its more like a declaration as to how his kung fu is better than their sifu's( that you dont do). like i mentioned before, the things that would be the antithesis to whats hes doing. on the otherhand the man in the garb isnt quite that level of practitioner if he doesnt even understand his danchi sau. wouldnt you agree?

Im not sure...these days eveerybody's point is very different and many people see things differently, GM KK is fundamentally a nice guy and I learn from him a lot so personally when teaching to the mass of people its not always easy to understand completely what one is talking avbouit...this is also true of chinese teaching seeing I have had many private lessons with SiJo leung ting..Europeans have a different mentality and I feel GMKK tries to filter information based on a western approach

That happens because the Chinese Sifu (sorry I forgot his name) uses different angles.
Kernspecht can't stop his opponent's fooksao, for instance.
Only few know that the WT that Leung Ting teaches in China is different from Kernspecht's.

Alle haben schiss das sie was falsch machen oder ein aufn Deckel bekommen. guck dir mal die Videos an....da grinsen sie alle gezwungener maßen, schwitzen, werden rot und hoffen das es bald vorbei ist. Ich habs selber gesehen... Ne ganze Halle mit ca. 150 Leuten die alle gleich reagiert haben.
Ob das der richtige Weg ist muss man selber entscheiden.
Das hat vielleicht was mit Respekt zu tun wohl eher aber mit Angst oder irgendeiner Form von Unterwürfigkeit (Unterdrückung)

aber ich geh Abends in die Disco und das jede 2 Wo. und gebe da für irgendwelche FOtz.. (FRAUEN:) ) 2 WOdka Lemon oder sonst was aus was mich einen 20€ kostet und die Lege ich im seltensten fall auch noch flach! aber da ist mir der Pu der mir ja was bringt und der für meinen Körper und Fitness gesund ist 30€ nicht wert(weil zu teuer)aber die Fotz. die mich 20€ wegen ihren getränken (und noch mal 20€ wg. meinen weil ich sie ja nicht allein trinken lasse)

hallo selbstverteidigung, was willst du uns damit sagen???? es gibt leute in der ewto, die seit 30 jahren wt machen und erst den 6 oder 7 pg haben. und kernspecht hat den 10 grad, den 6. in hapkido usw. das ist doch lächerlich!! er selber hält die leute zurück, aber sammelt selber gurte, für die man 5 leben lang lernen sollte... und das ist der scheiss an der ewto. kämpfen kann der schon, aber ihn interessiert nur das geld...

Wirklich Stoff vermittelt wird doch nur in den ersten 5-6 Graden. Bei den nächsten 5-6 geht es darum was ein Meister seinem Stil zurückgibt, somit handelt es sich mehr um Ehrengrade. Das wird meines Wissens in allen Stilen so gehalten. Wieviele 8. Dan laufen den herum?
Wer geil auf hohe Graduierungen ist muss halt seinen eigenen Verband gründen, was leider auch viele machen. Soviel zum Thema lebenslang üben.

I don't see a mistake in adding new methods to WC/WT, because the world outside changes too. GT's work had some influence to the creation of Blitzdefence, but it's surely not the same.
