War is part of our evolution, we don't want it but it might be what human needs. Look and Japan their cities rebuilt and more powerful ever, sacrifices are needed for us to move forward in our civilizations.

@Komnenit Nonsense, war is in our blood. Pain is the defining truth of life, would you deny a newborn life to spare the mother pain? No one pays to see the movie "peaceful days" at the movies. They go to see conflict, war and struggle. The movie resolves itself with "happily ever after" and then it ends.

Football is a violent war fought on the field where men still sometimes die from brain injuries and it hold the last five consecutive records for most watched television events. Larger wars raise the rewards and the cost. Conflict is a part of life. Why fight against what you are?
