so does having an audio interface pretty much just clean up your signal of your guitar going into the computer???? please tell me how you got such a clean/sick guitar tone outta this! i NEED to know!
That's really cool man! Me and my friend have tried every recording software and acoustica has to have the best software out there and it gets no more user friendly than Acousticas stuff. My friend decided he likes Magix but he's a looper, I like recording real instruments and vst's. I confess i use the loop's at time's too...LONG LIVE METAL AND ACOUSTICA!!!!!
The guitar tracks are recorded as separate tracks for the Left Channel and Right Channel. What I did was I recorded 3 takes for each channel and then "bounce" them as one track then assigned that one track either for Left or Right channel. I used a Line 6 UX2 Guitar Interface to connect my guitar to my computer.
So my mics run into my mixer and from there they run into my computer but when i record them on mixcraft they come out as one track and i was wondering how i get each mic in a seperate track? this is with my drums

@hardcorealonso36 my setup is pretty simple actually. all you need is a good ear and you're good to go. actually i have a final mix of this with vocal tracks in it. here check it out and let me know what you think.........
I AM a QUESTION . I AM USEING LINE6 UX1 TO DIRECT MY GUITAR TO THE COMNPUTER.. AND I OPEN MIXCRAFT AND AMPLITUBE TO RECOARD THE GUITAR SOUND . THAT IS CLEAN SOUND BUT NOTHING THER EFFECT I USE FROM AMPLITUBE . WHAT SOULD I SET IN MIXCRAFT .. 100000 THANKS
Ah I think I may've solved the problem, by switching to ASIO in the Mixcraft preferances (although need another guitar lead to test this out properly)
Also need some help - I've got a UX2 and have tried recording with Mixcraft 4 - Everything works fine expect when I play back it's out of time i.e. horrible latency issues - I've tried everything from tweaking drivers to looking on forums - any ideas? Cheers!
And ripping76, the sound won't play through your speakers, u need to output the sound to an amp or powered speakers :) - Go to control panel, sounds and select "speakers" as the default - that'll solve ur problem :)
hey i need somehelp with Mixcraft. The UX2 records perfectley fine until i stop recording and then it brings the track either forward or backwards for about helf a second. How do you stop it from doing this?

You used a real guitar to record this, right?
I'm trying to get this kind of sound, but I can't seem to do it with the Mixcraft guitars.

I can see the signal going into mixcraft but cant hear anything with playback.
And as soon as i shut down my recordings it disables my soundcard somehow...I dont know what i'm doing wrong.
please feel free to leave a message on my chann.el
Thanx for any help

@ripping76
Make sure you run it through pod farm.
In preferences on mixcraft set the recording to ASIO and arm the tracks however you like using them
