dye makes great guns he told me 2006 that the dm is great and will shoot ultra fragile paint and uses less air and so on....and thats why i stay by my dm6 and will not buy this gun..he allready told me my gun is great its no need for another :)

@epiphonefedex I would go with the Dm10 because its more highly regarded so you can probably find replacement parts easier. On the other hand proto is alltogether cheaper, and replacement parts will generally be cheaper. The Dye is more air efficient than the Ego. The Dye also has a better electronic firing system (every once in a while you'll hear it as EFS) this means it has a higher BPS rating. It also is extremely more durable than the ego.

I dont think you are getting a better gun NT Vs DM. Dye makes great guns period. Which ever you decide to run with you can not go wrong with either marker. NT's are nice but well over priced. Test have shown that NT at its most efficent will get roughly about 9 pods on a fill. And the DM10 will get about 8 pods. So one pod, and the NT is a much smaller platform. DM has a much higher profile but does not sacrafice any performance at all. I would say DM because you cant do too much more to it.

Meh, it's a tradeoff. You don't need to do any maintenance or lubing on an ego, ever (at least, I didn't lube or strip once in two years and it shot awesome the whole time). You also get a screen and a better interface. On the flipside, DM's are a whole lot quieter and imo better looking and feeling in the hand, and the NT is better still. Personal preference in the end.

I like both, I don't think the DM is that high maintenence of a marker. Someone here should played during the old Gen-E Matrix days now that was one heck of a job to maintain. Sometimes even if you maintained it right, the gun still would'nt work for you. I could remember playing with the LPR for the better of 20 minutes and still not getting the gun to work.
