USC IS good. You can't really compare college marching bands to Drum Corps though. They don't spend the time that the Corps shows take to learn their one show for the season. Most University bands prepare a new show for every new performance. No so for the Corps bands. Saying that though I absolutely love Phantom Regiment!

well USC is pretty high standard. you need to have excellent academics as well as athletics.

Football is definitely a good way to get a scholarship.

but you need to make sure you exceed their standards to have more chance of getting in.

its hard to get into USC, but im sure you will. just make sure you maintain your grades at straight A's if possible. :)

Ive been playing the SOAD songs for about 4 years, and they arent as technical as they are open for expansion

at a Tribute To SOAD show i played recently (With my Tribute Band DEER DANCE) i took toxicity and just expanded on it. The drummer never puts the full drum track into a recording, they save it for a live show.

John is UNDERRATED. good call on that.
