  • This is one of the best songs of the 3rd wave....hands down.....

  • I totally forgot Will Horton played bass with these guys! He's playing with my old guitarist in a country-drunk-rawk band called Leadville here in St. Louis now.

  • Aguante issac green

  • Awesome song is AWESOME!!!!

  • I miss them

  • I remember listening to this stuff IN high school.

  • Great song, but the their choreography is ridiculous-looking and too enthusiastic for the song's dynamics.

  • You need to get out more.

  • @jaybreak so what countyr were you born in?

  • @jaybreak huh? It's ska. They're all just havin' fun.

  • High School

  • Great song,, great video......

    Love it!

  • WTF?!?!?!?! who is this girl overdubbing vox. Sorry I fell in love with the original singers voice (the girl in the video) I can hear it a little in the back and the horns sound redone somehow. Please reply and tell me what happened, TY

  • TY,

This video was made very shortly after the band changed singers. Because of the band's touring schedule, the video shot before the new vocalist had a chance to re-record the track. In all fairness, she nearly begged the label not to release the video before this could be done. She didn't over-dub, actually she was under-dubbing.

  • I guess that makes since. I heard the videos singer first and it was kinda like when you grab a cola that you thought was a Genis and its good but your still like WTF? Im sober! >:(

  • so that's what it was... i have a copy of this song and it souded somehow different. i kinda like the other one better but this is still very good.

  • this was about 3 months after the box of death tour-- we filmed it in dirty jerz in june 1997, just before heading out with our boys spring heeled jack and skavoovie and the epitones. Michelle had left about a year before.

  • This is one of my favorite songs. I never saw the video but its so beautiful to go with a beautiful song.

  • This is so good!

  • Words can barely express how I feel right now that you posted this up. I LOVE this band more than life. I remember, too, whne I was 14 yrs old and saw this video on MTV's "Skaturday" or something and they were being featured. I recorded the video on VHS, haha. Then my friend messed it up and I went bezerk. Then MoonSka tanked and I went double beserk. Thank you <3<3<3 I dont know if you know what the members are up to know, I'll be staying in touch, for sure.

  • Awesome cut...I remember seeing this video when I was a freshman in college on MTV 2....that was back in '97...wow, i'm all 'growns' up now...lol...i hope i can pull it off of itunes...much respect

  • yah! where's michelle? before or after box of death?

  • Wow I only heard this once back in 97 or 98 and I remembered it. It was on MTV during the day when they would do a theme for lunch. They played ska that day and I was happy to see this.

  • That's some damn fine skankin'

This was a staple of my MTV diet...5am-6am when they showed videos that weren't shit...

ah, the glory days of high school

  • This has to be one of my most favorite responses to any of my videos ever!

    Thanks

  • Great band. I saw them countless times all throughout the 1990's. I'm from Joplin, Mo and being a St. Louis band they would come to play quite frequently

They are long broken up of course, but I miss those days.

I still remember when I used to see them they had three females. One on alto sax, one on baritone sax and one on tenor sax and they all three shared vocals

  • i havn't seen this video for ever i think it was on mtv 2..wow good memories..

  • I think I first saw this video when I was....like 6 and now I'm 17. I have been looking for this video for a long long time:) I'm a very happy I found it now^__^

  • I forgot to add the only thing I remembered was that she was singin about high school and she was walking in the school halls singin:) Not a lot to go off of but it was what I had. I just love this band.

  • i first saw this when i was 14 years old in grade 9 and i thought it was a great song.. now im 23 and i found it again, it has a different meaning for me. cool video and sweet song, not to mention the nice dance moves.

  • great song...i got this in a ska compilaion released in a brazilian magazine in 1997!

  • Aaah..love this tune! I just came across this CD that I bought back in '96 when this came out..damn has it been that long? good lord...thanks for the post, this video ROCKS!

  • OMG I haven't seen this video in so long. It came out when I was a freshman in high school and it always stayed with me. Favorite line: "I lost my youth... when I suppressed a smile." Classic.

  • It's too bad that this video doesn't have Jessica's voice on it. The singer in this version of the song is Amy the former singer...

  • Wow,she's so pretty, just as I imagined her. Their songs were great and full on energy. Too bad I never go to see them live. Does anyone know what they are doing now, or at least Issac and Jessica.

  • skankland col ohio 1998 july one of the best shows ever and fun all night party with jessica and the band

  • i love this song so much. theyre such a great band!

  • I'm from St. Louis and my close friend used to live with the trombone player. Great video. Sorry it was trashed by that MTV show 12 Angry Viewers (was that the title) back in the day. I was pulling for it! Great job!

  • Actually, the video received high praises, with the exception of someone complaining that it looked like a Spike Lee film.

(You could say worse things) I'd guess I was the first to borrow a technique from another artist. lol The band is brilliant!

  • vidaso el que le puso ahi es un master si hay mas skalars que venga

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh iwas looking this song for years ! it was in my head and finally found it thank you
