  • hi

  • Mr. I might be wrong, but i think the formula is not working properly from rows 4 to 7

  • How is the formula not working?

  • How is the formula not working?

I think if you do not type weekends or holidays into the start date, it will always work. If you type weekends or holidays into start date (like in row 5) then you get incorrect answer. I have another video that shows how to add Data Validation to prevent weekends and holidays. See this video at the 48:41 minute mark:

Excel Magic Trick 787: Conditional Formatting Basic To Advanced (30 Examples)

  • Fantastic! Your information is right on the dial. Thanks.

  • I am glad that you like the video!

  • @ExcelIsFun Do you have a video on creating a gantt chart to manage projects within 24 hours using minutes and hours as opposed to days?

  • No I do not. Sorry about that. Maybe sometime in the future, but I have been really sick for two months...

  • hey, I need to create a gantt chart where the bar in the chart only changes colour when an option is chosen where that particular task is completed. Please advise on how to do this! Thanks

  • I like you, can't wait for 2010. I just purchased new PC for home and got 2007 and can download 2010 for free once it comes out.

  • When can I buy Office 2010?

  • They say about May. But we will see... I can;t wait, myself!

  • Love these charts. Now it's just so much easier. Thanks Mike!

  • This is much much easier with Excel 2010! There are some really awesome new functions in Excel 2010.
