his atari 2600 is not a heavy sixer, its a later 6 switch model. the heavy sixer has more plastic casing around the sides of the console

Yes the heavy sixer is the sears VCS model. When it was just called the video computer system.

This game has amazing graphics.

No really, I'm serious. The Atari TIA can only generate a 40x200 resolution screen, and yet this game is being displayed in 320x200 resolution!

How on earth is that possible? I wish I could get a look at the source code, so I could see what amazing tricks this programmer performed to get 8 times the resolution. It blows my mind - it shouldn't be possible to exceed 40x200.

The board is made up with playfield graphic and missile graphic. The horizontal line is the playfield and the vertical line is the missile graphic.

Great game for those who like strategy games (like me).

I could rather easily beat it at the lower levels. 50/50 with the mid levels, and never beat it at the upper levels. I don't think I would ever beat level 8 in a hundred years!

What's fun, though, if you have 2 Atari consoles and 2 3-D tic tac toe cartridges, is to play level 8 against level 8. That way one of them FINALLY has to lose! (Hmmm, but you know how there can be ties in regular tic tac toe? Wonder if ties are possible here)

It is possible to get a tie, but it MUCH, MUCH more difficult to get one. In regular Tic-Tac-Toe, it's easy, but in this one, it pretty hard and kind of rare.

In fact, it's so rare that ties are said to be planned.

I'm not making it up, due to a programming bug it sometimes disturbes pieces if you're playing in the higher difficulty levels!

I got this game actually awhile ago, but I haven't played it. Funny thing for some reason or another, the Atari 7800 system fell out of the rotation for some reason at my house when I had my friend O over.

But we brought it back last week and had a blast playing our usual games: Indy 500 and Hangman. This review makes me definitely want to try it and Maze Craze!

I think there's also a 3x3x3 mode in this game, but I don't remember very well. It's been forever since I played it.

I never owned this game, but my aunt/uncle had this among a huge collection when I visited them as a kid. Playing their Atari was like being in a toy store. They had so many games it was impossible to get bored with all of them at the same time. Perpetual entertainment. My uncle ended up hiding the power adapter.
