It has always been the tradition of the Nation of Islam to not carry weapons. We only fight in "Self Defense" and are taught "Never to be the aggressor". So no we are not "Choir boys" in the sense that we don't believe in "turn the other Cheek". Other than that we are a peaceful people "Don't start none, won't be none".

Peace Be Unto You All, The Jr. FOI are trained in spiritual warfare. When they say "The Devil is getting killed" it's in the same Vein as what Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says "the Greatest Jihad is the war that one wages against the weakness of one's self". We should all be engaged in a battle -Muslim, Christian, Jew, Buddhist, etc,-to slay the Devil (weakness) of self.
