dear ThN1saHead, i am a member of warner bros and regret to inform you that the use of this logo is illigal and further action is taking place. this matter is likely to be taken to court.
Your profile is registered for the UK country, that is, likely, your actual position. Tell your boss that I'll negotiate only with the central production's headquarters in California...
To make it more credible, get the name of a WB member from movie titles and create an account with it, then upload some trailers and make up a realistic biography in the channel decription. Then re-write your post with capitals in "Dear", "I","This" and, obviously, "Warner Bros"; you must start a new line after the comma and sign the post with Name, Surname [Enter] Role into the company [Enter] Company name, inc. "Illegal" is wrongly spelt.
Sorry but all that makes the post less manifest fake.
@hyper4lifedude Yes, because Warner Bros. employees have YouTube accounts names such as 'hyper4lifedude' and can't spell 'illegal'. If your going to try and act like a Warner Bros. employee, at least get your spelling and grammer right.
Well, actually I could be fined, but as long as nobody has economic interest in doing it, I can consider myself safe. The point is that this kind of works do not damage the companies that own the logos, because they are enough well-known that looking at the spoofed logos people think immediately to the original one, so any use of them is, implicitly a kind of publicity for the owners. And, of course, I don't obtain any economic benefit from spoiled logos, so there is no exploiting.
you should be okay, there are other spoofs with major names, including people making own universal, wb, paramount, etc. logos with the correct companies' name on the logo
You are wrong about that. And I consider you to review copyright laws, you risk being in for a hefty fine. What you are doing is copyright infringing the WB Logo to confuse others into thinking your involved with them to profit off of their good name.
I'm currently not using spoofed logos as an intro for any kind of production. The moment I'll publish some long work, I'll publish it with my own logo. I'm giving these works as a form of "art" or, if you prefer, as an exibitin of my (limited) ability. As I said, I've no profit from them: I do not sell them, I do not use them for publicity, I'm just sharing them with the world.
if you like to see the cinema history watch *BIRTH OF CINEMA* in youtube and enjoy.

Of course that only applies if you are coming out with movies and television shows, which I doubt you are.
