I like both these guys. I wonder what Dean thinks of the Dems after he was DNC Chairman and campaigned for Obama(to have his ear in the white house) and kicked to the side for pro-war candidates like Rahm Emanuel and Hillary Clinton. Kerry and Obama now both kicked him to the side. None the less I like Dean and Nader alot. GO Ralph Nader, Ron Paul, Cynthia McKinney, Howard Dean, and Dennis Kucinich!
Why won't Dean leave his party and join Nader... That would be an awesome ticket... Hell take Gravel and Kucinich and put them in the admin...... Could you imagine if Nader ran against Clinton and McCain and/or Huck...
Because is like the rest of the Dems so hungry for power, that they feel the ends justify the means. Look at how Dean has disinfranchised democratic voters in MI, FL, NV. He supported the fact the Gravel & Kucinich were excluded for the debates. He came up with that phony ass pledge. No, Howard Dean is a two faced as you can get.
I watched this whole debate and I would have to guess that around 20% of it was debating the issues - the other 80% was talking about whether Nader should run, about whether he was a "spoiler". Total BS. The Dem. Party is not the lesser of two evils, that is an illusion - it is the same evil and until people Wake the F&*k Up, we will never have fair elections and fair choice in this country.
I generally agree with Nader, and having a debate like this with Howard Dean has certainly made me look at them both in a greater light. Too bad Dean fucked up his election. I'd rather have him as president instead of Hillary Clinton who might win.
He didn't fuck up anything. It was the media who fucked him. The media decides he can't be the democratic nominee and their excuse is because he made some weird noise. Who gives a shit. I make weird noises all the time. We need to wake up and quit buying into the pedi bullshit that the media feeds us.
This was a good debate. I do think Nader owned Dean on several occassions, however dean made some very good ponts as well. In retrospect, if Dean had won instead of kerry, I think the democrats would have won. Kerry was worthless. I would have voted nader 2004 if I was old enough.
Neither one comes off looking bad after a debate like this. Two men talking candidly about real issues, not like recent debates where everyone gets 1 minute deliver a crappy prewritten speech
Well, I've always known Ralph Nader cares. Nader's the best! But Dean, I didn't know much about him. I got to see part of him revealed in this debate. That's what I meant.
I think Nader is irreligious.

Dean is a good guy, but no one is going to out-debate Ralph Nader.
You'll see Dean say what he REALLY thinks when he eventually leaves the Dem Party...kind of like a liberal Pat Buchanan.

It's sad to see even remotely progressive democrats censor themselves for the sake of the party.

When Dean says, "We live in a real world--we have to make real choices, 'binding none of the above' means we don't have to make real choices."
Does Dean not realize the irony of this ridiculous statement?

I don't understand why democrats want my vote so much, they'll never get it.

He was in all likelihood about to say something about the powerful Jewish lobby, but abandoned the statement to be concise.

I would never have paid money for this product. It makes sense it was pulled from the shelves after 2 years.
