They were survivors of The Communists attempts to exterminate the Cossacks in the Ukraina . My grandfather commanded a detachment of Cossacks throughout the Russian Civil War. Being Orthodox Old Believers, they along with my grandfather forbade harming any unarmed person. He refused to join ROA in WWII. I detest propaganda. :)

The cossacks are some fierce thugs. Don't mess with them. During the war they would ride into the german tanks, jump off their horses, break into the tank, kill all the crew with their sabres and carry the bodies tied to the "liberated" tanks and to their horses on their way west.
You do realized that when they were actually deployed as cavalry in World war 2, they mostly only harassed supply lines and retreating enemies, there's a fine line between stupidity and courage.
I know, is so sad that the days of brave open cavalry warfare ended in WWI. By WWII, cavalry had been relegated to a support role rather than a main weapon of battle.

Playing a computer game I had cossacks and my enemy was Germany.He was in the age of tanks,machine guns,panzers,etc.I send the cossack cavalry to defend Russia and they defeated all the tanks,only 3 died if I remember.The enemy send then nazi soldiers with machine guns and cossacks another time won.

I thought they were uses to kill the unarmed Russian and Ukranian serfs and of course the Jews. Am I wrong?

thank you friend but sadly unless i can find more cossack pictures i will not be able to keep doing them as im running out.
my pc also does not allow me to place my music on my videos with most songs so that is also a prolem.
but as ever i try and make sure the pictures are either original photo's and paintings. again thank you.
