  • This video made me so fucking hard

  • shitty that she hasnt sold shit if she could afford the marketing im sure they'd do well. She needs to get a charity and sell those where proceeds (some or all) go to the charity THEN they'd sell HUGE

  • this is a smart idea, it wouldnt sell if it was anything but an embrella, this "mission" is seperate from the product but there is a great pun, the embrella stops the "rain" and bring happiness with positivity. - - watch the movie "The Secret" has nothing to do with god and has everything to do with happiness..

  • frames within frames with frames, AAAAAH

  • Where do they find people like this? The fool and their money are lucky enough to get together in the first place.

  • Starts at 1:10

  • People make more on hobbys then that. Worthless company.

  • what a stupid useless bitch...

  • crazy bitch

  • We already have products for happiness in Finland if we getting too sad. Alcohol and Sauna :D

  • @SIMOPARAS hahahah i love finland.

  • I live in Canada, where's the rest of that blackberry commercial? Haha

  • this bitch crazy

  • Hm. Business last year $11K and $18K before that. She's put $100K into it. Passion overriding sense. The sharks are right that it's an inspiring idea, but not a viable business. You can't live off of $11K. And there's nothing stopping anyone else from doing the same thing she is. She needs to realize she has a lot to offer & can effect people's lives in positive ways besides upbeat-logoed flip-flops and umbrellas. People won't be doomed to misery if her flip-flop crusade fails.

  • It's sad that she was attacked and has to cling to this idea to get through her days. It seems that way at least.

  • 3 goddamn borders! get a better TV and tivo!

  • Dragon's Dens way better

  • I thought the flip flops with words on the bottom were a great idea. I think she could do something with flip flops, just evolve it a little.

  • vacation spots..... rehabilitation centers..... yoga classes..... all could have their own inspiring sandals and places like gyms and motels could brand their own and sell or give them as an accommodation. She just needs to find a big fish and leave the sharks to feast on 1 another lol.

  • @DEFPOETSTV And that exact reason is why her business can't be successful. If it ever catches on, there's nothing that can't be duplicated by someone else. There's nothing stopping me from going out, buying a bunch of plain umbrellas, putting inspirational messages on them and selling them at a higher price.

  • @TheBaldOneMpls DUMB ANSWER BUDDY, its exactly the same as GUCCI OR ANY OTHER succesful brand, everyone else can make handbags, ill just go on alibaba and find about 100 different handbags suppliers in china in about 5 minutes. you wait, i say, 50/50 one day she will be loaded, its always the crazy ones

  • @Kaybsoul This isn't comparable to Gucci or other brand names. Gucci makes money because it's a luxury brand. People buy it because they want people to see that they own Gucci. If you want a Gucci bag, you have one (legal) option: buying it from Gucci.

This isn't about an image/brand, but the inspirational messages, which aren't protected by copyright or trademark. There are already other companies that do this, and if it catches on, someone else will come along and undercut the price

  • @TheBaldOneMpls Gucci sales handbags, gucci gives the illusion its better than other handbags. Its the same as every other company, ''im better than the others''.

  • @Kaybsoul That's what luxury brands do. The big selling point is the glamor and status associated with the brand, which can't be duplicated by another company. That's not what this product is selling - it's selling inspiration, which CAN be duplicated by other companies quite easily. That's why I'm saying this business won't be as successful as she hopes.

  • @TheBaldOneMpls It cannot be duplicated? Inspiration, glamour, think about what your saying, they are all emotions, you FEEL inspired, you DESIRE glamour, you really dont get it, or get this womans business, its exactly the same as GUCCI, gucci sells glamour which is just as easily duplicable as inspiration. Both businesses are selling emotions, gucci dont really sell hangbags, like you said, they are selling emotions, just like this woman.

  • @Kaybsoul It's NOT exactly the same. Part of the glamor of a Gucci bag is the fact that it's a Gucci. Yes, it looks nice, and some people buy them to own a nice bag, but there's also an image and identity specifically attached to the Gucci name. The only way to get a bag that has that attachment is to buy a Gucci bag.

Soul's Calling's biggest selling point is the inspiration (which other companies can copy). Gucci's biggest selling point is the name (which other companies can't copy).

  • @TheBaldOneMpls

Not unless the company resides in China, and it's main product is counterfeit Gucci bags.

  • @hotgirlsarehot Your reply is great and your name is great. I'd like to offer you 100 thumbs up for 51% of your user name.

  • these comments prove that her idea is brilliant...... you people need a little color. i would have bought those slippers and the umbrella. I just think that she may be better off making this a non-profit to cheer up ppl that are in need. Added with a program that cares for ill patients or elderly ppl .... I would have love it. And those shoes would be great for any resort ect.

  • I thought she was sweet, just cause she cried doesn't mean shes representing all women in business.

  • "Because it is part of my mission on the planet..."

    I am out.

  • This made me very, very, "sad."

  • After reading the comments before the video finished loading, I had the impression that this was going to be one of those not well thought out pie in the sky ideas, but then my assumptions were brought back to earth when I watched the video and remembered that 90% of people are idiots. This idea would actually work, except it needs better management. A royalty agreement for 100% equity would've made the most sense. The sandals were especially brilliant.

  • One of the most stupid business ideas I have EVER seen... nice girl, just not in touch with business reality...

  • Looks like she robbed a dollar store and just pasted her stupid logo all over everything

  • I live in Hawaii and I want those slippers!

  • always crazy happy people talking about world domination

  • In what universe are people allowed to cry in a business meeting? She makes women look really bad.

  • @eyeswideopen86 Has nothing to do with being "allowed" or not allowed. It's simply unprofessional, because the crying doesn't solve the issues in the meeting. And she does not represent womankind in the business world - realize this.

  • @IaxobusJames I didn't mean allowed in the literal sense, I meant more like acceptable/professional. Yes I understand she doesn't represent all women. This woman feeds into the stereotype that women are overly emotional and irrational which also leads to some women overcompensating by being overly aggressive and rude at work just to avoid the stereotype.

  • @eyeswideopen86 Huh, that's fairly interesting.

  • amazing how they can predict the future

  • well the catholic church already did this idea, they got the best business in the world and it's tax free

  • what a freaking emotional being. I am so afraid of this chic

  • I feel incredibly bad for this woman. Those of you making fun of her don't understand that whatever it was that happened forced her to turn into this upbeat person in order to make it through life

  • Aloha from Hawaii !!! The show is awesome and Hawaii loves Shark Tank show. In fact, Shark Tank's own, Kevin Harrington is starting up a business! Check out my channel. Mahalo, Israel Francisco and family

  • She's not only on prozac she's on lithium, paxil, and zoloft.

  • Shes a nice person, but seriously does she think you cant find happiness elsewhere other than from a sandle and a umbrella?

  • This woman was raped by a deejay and spat his semen in a plastic bag and took it to the police as evidence thts a turn on right there tht she could keep semen in her mouth for tht long

  • i love you kevin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • no opportunity its just an idea = fail.

  • she has psychological disorder if she cant understand her own numbers. feel sorry.

  • Okay, she definitely should stop. However, I LOVE the idea of the flip flops. :) lol

  • Let's valuate the business:

    15,000 (average per year) * 5 years = $70,000

    .25 / $150,000 = 1.6 Million

Misses the mark by 1.5 Million dollars.

You can't be in denial about this shit, when it's failing it's failing.

  • @clintonskakun yea but 150k is 25% of 600k not 1.6 million

  • 100,000 spent

    11,000 + 18,000 = 29,000 made

    100,000 - 29,000 = $81,000 lost to date.

The numbers will set you free. Shows how emotional attachment to business can make you loose lots of money.

  • i hate when they start being all emotional and cry on the show

  • THE NUMBERS MASON WHAT DO THEY MEAN

  • this is friggin hilarious!!!!

  • stupid bitch needs reality smacked in her face

  • stupidest product ever i could just write on my hand " Be Happy " and i could save myself money.

  • that flip flop idea is awesome. could make a business on that alone. you just need the distribution channels to hit every single beach resort/hotel gift shop on the planet.

  • @thegreatNEb

it was excellent and you hit the nail on the head

    thumbs up

  • All credit to her for doing what she believes in and is passionate about but for someone who intends to spread happiness, she sure seems unhappy.

  • @bluelondon

I think I am going to copy that "connection bracelet", as a student business, it sounds great for valentines I think!

anyways, I feel bad for the girl about her trouble...

But I don't feel bad about making my own "connection bracelets".

The problem is marketing. there are 100.000 people doing this; you just gotta be the best

  • Robert was being an absolute gentleman, but this delusional woman didn't appreciate good advice she could do well to take. She needs to stop doing business altogether.

  • i hope she dies soon.

  • @concussedcarneous Lol well that's not very nice.

  • "life is good" brand is equally retarded as this deeply disturbed lady's business, but it makes a lot of money, so there is some potential. problem they had was the owner who is not a businesswomen but a walking suicide watch.

  • I liked her flip flops :)

  • This is a crazy idea. Sometimes people let their emotions get the better of their judgement, which is a terrible idea in business when you could stand to lose thousands of dollars and waste years of your life. Hopefully after facing a very public rejection she will start to see the futility of her endeavour and turn her talents to something more productive.

  • 150k for a positive message? I'd rather have an item that told others to fuck right off

  • What a bad misstake she made. :(

  • the flip flops were cute. i could see a lot of little kids buying them. but the business is crappy.

  • commented before watching up to 1:40.

Bitch items can't hold positive energy!

  • I think it's not a business.. it's more of a nonprofit organization or something

  • i think the flip flops saying words in the sand when u walk on it was a good idea but that was it >.>

  • if she was banging a little more she'd sell more :)

  • @bobbysreign you read my mind!!...i'd be at my "happiest self" taking her on that carpet...hahah

  • you can make more than 18000 a year at minimum wage after taxes, and this woman took 5 years to make that much not even in profit but just in sales. they are completely right to deny her. $100,000 she put into her products, off of which she only made 18,000... i mean... that's so much debt. it probably involves high interest loans. she could have gotten a college degree with that kind of time and money and gotten a real job by now.

  • I bet that her business took off 1000% the day this episode aired...probably the best marketing ploy she could ever do

  • theres nothing wrong with being sad

  • If she really wanted to spread happiness she would do volunteer work like disaster relief or feeding and clothing the homeless. she wants peoples money.

  • she has an excellent idea, one of the reasons the world is going downhill is because genuinely kind words are rare and darkness (clothing, movies) is being embraced. the difference between todays cartoons and the ones that had even adults watching in the 80's and 90's is a bit of both. here's one way to stand out in the world today don't wear anything that's black.

  • @canguy22 Your comment is on the money, A guy makes more money making don't snitch shirt's which give the bad guy's more power to hurt people yet a girl get's attacked and want's to change a negative to a positive, the shark's are crazy for not investing cause there are a lot of people that are victim's and have family's that know victim's,I think the positive word could do what the negative did , and change people's attitude,

  • this made me vomit, don't get ,me wrong happiness is good but this is just stupid.

  • Yea, that would really make my day, walking down the street and seeing some feel good bullshit on an umbrella.

  • Maybe her number are low because she sucks at marketing!? But there are plenty of touchy-feeley people in the world who would want to buy her product no!?!

  • I think her intentions are great, the products innovative, and she has a forthright & honest attitude. So she has lots going for her to succeed. But the focus is sorely lacking, and I think that's a KEY element needed here. If she specialized in an area like books or DVDs she either creates herself or co-brands new/existing authors and brands it all under a more tangible emotion like Business Inspiration, I think she could go a long way! Make Herjavac's book your first and go re-pitch them!

  • I drink beer to be happy. My woman says that I spend too much and there isn't enough for her to buy clothes and jewelry. I ask why why she needs all that fancy stuff. She says it helps her look pretty. I told her that's what the beer is for.

  • @kansaimagic haha you made me laugh with this comment

  • @kansaimagic I think you're pathetic and I'd love to take your beer bottles and smash them over your head for the poison you dish out both to yourself and your woman.

  • @kansaimagic troll

  • I'm going to buy an umbrella for one purpose. If you can't guess what that one purpose is then you deserve to be shot and re-shot.

I don't buy an umbrella to make myself feel better about myself.

  • @TheHockeyCentral lolz i kow right

  • IF I WANT TO BE HAPPY I SMOKE A BLUNT ---LEGALIZE IT

  • the whity next to that black guy is ALWAY OUT he's the laziest rich guy on here lmao

  • @concussedcarneous lol he ain't lazy, he's just sticking to his sell on tv shit coz that's what he does best. why bother with shit you know nothing about? but when there is some potential for him he jumps on that shit like hawk on a bunny. even if it's stupidest crap ever, like prototype turbo baster or push up machine.

  • Did you export this from your PVR ?? If so how!?

  • hahahah she was making her story sound all sad and stuff but right after she finished one of the shark just brings up again how small her sales were....great show!

  • Aw, she's so cute and happy.

    She freaks me out.

  • never trust people that are overly happy, it's just not natural

  • @skippydeenice its a front for something very emotional they have been through, a defense mechanism of sorts

  • @skippydeenice lmao!

  • hahaha i love kevin, just his facial expressions

  • first thing they teach you in business school: PROFIT IS EVERYTHING.

you cant mix profit and greed with what she is doing, that itself is what is wrong with our society,

  • @discodino She's obviously fragile because of what she's been through, but I really don't understand why people try to build a business on happiness. You can't sell happiness because happiness can't be bought.

I do wish her well, though, and the sandals are pretty cool.

  • "They fall in love with my product", NICE.

  • she is not doing it for the money but more so for her belief system like she said she feels it is why she is here on earth.

if I were her I would team up with one of those wellness clinics and market through there, it may boost her sales, because her sales are very low for all her product line.

    I would say no!

  • She needs to invest in marketing!

  • @augana exactly
