  • i see you with the superunknown riffage!

  • i'm pretty sure you're playing suffragette city at one point?

  • Back to the Old School!! Yeah!!!

  • I CAN'T BELIEVE you posted a demo of this pedal without playing one of pf's best riffs, "Interstellar Overdrive" that calls for a re-do

  • When it opens with a Sabbath song, you know it's going to be a sick pedal

  • now this is my kind of overdrive. huge gain range, gets nice and fuzzy when you crank it. you can count i'll be saving up for this thing.sounds absolutely massive ♥

  • I like it!

  • Alive in the superunknown!!

  • this is pretty tame compared to most of Death by Audio's pedals. Still sounds great though.

  • Do you plan on moving the town to the clash city rockers?

  • thank God someone is not using the blues scales

  • anyone else reflexively feel like muting your guitar when you hear the click and feedback in the intro of PGS videos?

  • what the hell!?! i haven't even placed my order yet and the cops are already banging on my door!! oh well i guess this is just one more way to annoy everyone around me and make great music at the same time, thanks DBA!

  • I was thinking 'i can't explain by the who' then heard the third chord and was thinking 'all right some clash!'

  • I swear any pedal sounds good when you play some Sabbath with it, this is no exception!

  • The Hives - Hate To Say I Told You So!

  • Yes!! Aah, I didn't recognize Clash City Rockers until you added the overdrive, and then I came.

  • I've serching for a suckmind overdrive, i thing that i found it. Fuckk yeahhh!!!! Death by Audio rules.

  • this is my favorite overdrive ever! its so versatile. a combination of a natural, transparent overdrive and a bassy, nasty fuzz tone. perfect for blues!

  • Fuck your Tubescreamer.

  • need a little jump of electrical SHOCKER

  • Clash City Rockers!

  • was that some bowie in there?

  • best sounding overdrive yet!

  • yes! playing the hives - hate to say i told you so at 1:10 :D wow this pedal sounds awesome

  • What do you mean with "oblique" sound? Thanks :)

  • InTeRsTeLLaR OvErDrIvE

    PINK FLOYD ¡¡¡¡¡

  • nailed iommis tone in intro. groovy

  • The Friends theme song? Tony Iommi would not be psyched. The beginning is "After Forever" by Black Sabbath...

  • @slimjw You have to admit the hilarious similarities though :D.

  • the beginning sounds like the Friends theme song loll

  • This thing would turn a Gibson Thunderbird into a monster!!!!!

  • Sounds very Sound Garden-ish.

  • suffragette city!!!

  • thank you for playing the clash

  • HATE TO SAY I TOLD YOU SO!!!

  • @adsplay Allright!!!

  • this thing has to have the most gain range that ive ever seen

  • this is by far the best overdriver pedal i have ever heard.

  • amazing pedal..simple to use with great tone...I love it.

  • The Interstellar Overdriver:

    Best. Name. Ever.

  • @ToneChaser4Life i love poison, says the pink floyd troll

  • I like their pedals but a bit expensive for a beginner like me. Any cheaper similar ones in the $100 range?

  • Check out Electro-Harmonix's pedals. I think they're great if you're on a budget.

  • Check out "made by Mike".

He can possibly make you a clone for alot cheaper.

  • these are all hand made in a small apartment, but these are used to destroy sound, built for noise!

  • Actually the Death by Audio guys have a sort of factory/studio in new york...

  • The Digitech hardwire series are around the $100 and are good quality.

  • try a Boss Blues Driver an Ibanez TS9 or for a bit more pennies a Way Huge Pork Loin.

  • The pedals you mentioned are fine.

But those pedals don't sound anything like the DBA Interstellar Overdriver.

  • as far as inexpensive, basic yet well-made pedals, mxr is hard to beat...

  • @bythewaysideguitar

They really are kind of the kings of 'no thrills, what you see is what you get' pedals.... pretty good

  • We need to know what the riff at 1:55 is from...

  • Is the pedal's name a Syd Barrett-era Floyd reference, perchance? ;D

  • What is that riff at 1:55, sounds epic +1

  • 1:55 sounds like a bit of "Panama" by Van Halen?

1:22 is "Clash City Rockers" by The Clash. Sounds pretty cool on the DBA "Interstellar Overdrive".

Also, The opening Sabbath riff sounds HUGE.

  • 1:55 doesnt sound like van halen at all!!!

  • 1:22 could also be the Who song they supposedly ripped off for "Clash City Rockers." But the pacing sounds more like the Clash to me... I can't remember the name of the Who song.

  • "I Can't Explain"

  • andy can you make a demo for the overdriver supreme????pls...i saw one but i wanna it from you..thanks

  • will you guys make a demo of the total annihilation??

  • After spending about a week or so with this pedal I must say I am extremely pleased with it. Its one of the best ODs I have ever heard. You dont hear it in this vid but it has a nice array of clean tones (without lowering guitar volume) so you can get a TS style boost. Its sort of like a clean boost but not totally but it does sound a lot like your amp. Dont get this unless you have faith in your amp.

  • This is a hell of a pedal. DBA makes the best damn distortion on the market.

  • This badboy is one of the top overdrive pedals on the market today. For those looking for something like a 808 on steroids this is it, and the natural tube like tones from it are killer. Is there a version without a Master volume knob?

  • Yeah there's a version without master. This does not sound anything like any 808 I've ever heard.

  • You can get TS style sounds if you want. He spends about 3 seconds with that sound. Around 1:12 in the vid, also lowering the master will change the sound a bit, and raising the OD will add a bit of mids.

  • Get a Silver screw Boss OD-1

different clipping to Ibanez 808 i believe

  • holy shit that's crunchy - I think I've found what will be going on my board to cover ground between lovepedal 8823 and fuzz factory

  • Dig the "Clash City Rockers".

  • ya! soundgarden!

  • Man this thing is nasty! Nice!!

  • It's got a Pink Floyd name but, it doesn't have a Pink Floyd sound.

  • i was actually thinking the same thing, becuase I love Syd's tone on that tune

  • badass...DBA makes some killer shit

  • that's bowie at 2:26 right?

  • reminds me of Suffragete (cant spell) City slightly.

  • Perfect for Sabbath tunes. I really wasn't expecting this to clean up so well, but it chimes!

  • Really starts sounding good around 1:55

  • WOW....NICE! very fuzzy overdrive with some grit
