This was really interesting, and very well-done, especially the part about the bloody chamber fairytale part. It's a well-known Gothic story theme, but I never thought about its bearing on the Ed Gein case before.
While Harold Schechter is giving his part of the interview it was like he was reading big huge cue cards directly from his book about this story. It was kind of annoying, I was actually hoping he would give some new little tid bit of information.
Well, the only "good thing" out of this sad story is that it took place back then, before cable TV...Otherwise, Gein's "remaining days" would be spent on Ophra, Nancy Grace, and a whole bunch of crappy news that I don't use on this today's terrible human genepool!!!
Anyone that does the things that he did even though he was abused all his life is a psychopath, and they more point out that he was psychotic. Very informative video set, I really learned a lot about the man!
@seonidh he only addmittedf to 2 people but i gaurenttee u that he killed alot of people he definitly killed his brother and those 2 women he also robbed graves but as many bodys as they found dident add up to the grave robberys what im saying is there were more bodys then the graves he robbed so its obvious that he has killed alot of people.
@stacks6969allday without evidence we can assume a lot. Yes he was crazy a ghoul straight out of a Lovecraft novel but without evidence we cant assume anything. Then again if he killed the two people in a day or two due to a deranged mental capacity and not psychopathic tendencies he still wouldnt be classified as a serial killer.
@starkiller20293 possible and my be the truth judging his later actions and behaviour but unless they have physical proof a key concept in western justice they cant associate him as a psychopath
@JohnQRandom HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!! You're cracking me up??????? :-) I was watching a documentary on Ted Bundy and he'son that one tooo! UGGGGGG????? (rofl)
Mr. Gein looks a lot like my late grandfather. If only he were still with us and in good health, he could have made a great actor for the part in a short film or something.
in a way i kinda feel sorry for him it was really his abusive father and dominant mothers fault

Actually Gein's grave was marked. But the gravestone got vandalized so often they put it in a museum.

The guy in the black suit is driving me nuts. Everytime he finishes a sentence, the intonation of his voice goes up a though he's asking a question.

@JohnQRandom Sounds like a [nasally] speaking impediment, with a strong audio-bass element.
I agree; it's annoying, as much as I like his insights.
