Some time ago, I stunningly realized that time itself was an illusion and cause and effect that happens within time must be as well. it's a little scary that "I" am beginning to have this understanding. Starting to see science programs that show major physicists coming to similar conclusion in their own ways.
As far as I know, there's still no scientific evidence to refute this. And it kind of makes sense that our perceptions are late. Our everyday lives show us that there can't be an effect without a cause. Why should the "effect" of a perceiver/witness be any different? It seems logical that the witness is late and comes after the event. Fascinating stuff.

What we always habitually overlook is the looker, as the looker is devoid of objective or subjective content and thus holds no fascination for the mind. Its a kind of double bind in consciousness - the answer being outside of consciousness - but all attempts to get there arise in consciousness.
This "prior to consciousness" thing is a concept,and it's still division of the mind...it's both nothing and everything,no separation...and that is a concept also!:-)
It may be a concept too, but the people who know about it just know it due to such concept, then they should have a spirit of gratitude for it instead of commenting around saying "uh, it's merely a concept too". We know it's merely a concept too, but could we have learnt about it without such concept?
There is no cause and effect in this sense - In Reality - in actuality - which is what is right now right here - Nothing has ever happened - as all there is is the Absolute - and it is absolute - its contains no movement - no becoming - no time. There sure is the illusion in mind in perception via the bodymind of cause and effect. But that very bodymind just does not exist.
Given that Reality transcends the senses this should make no sense
Freewheely - No Reality iteself - Being that which IS, which never changes - which has no fixed abode - which transcends all modes of being, is NOT - any-thing, is intemporal. It is that which gives rise to the consciousness which functions through the senses. All that the senses - aware- is change. now you see it now you don't.
