well it was smoth, but if you want it to be even better, you should land on the aimimg bars next time, and dont use thrust till all the wheel hit

that's an interesting opinion! I find the MD's are ridicualosuly easy to land... you just flick the nose up and it stays like that!

but it floats easily. Not hard to land, but hard to land well - that is on the TDZ at -100ft to -20 ft a minute.

A soft landing, but you missed the TDZ. Cut the throttles at 50ft.

What I do for a soft landing is come in SLIGHTLY low (3 red, 1 yellow) and cut the throttles slightly early so I don't overshoot the runway.

Nevertheless I liked the video. 4/5.

With the MD-11 you cut power at 20ft. The auto throttle does that for you.

Reverse thrust = F2.

For the wing view you need a program which allows you to move the camera around the aircraft. I suggest ActiveSky.

You should cut the throttle as soon as u cross the threshold of the runway not when u touchdown, but smaooth landing:)

Well, in my opinion, the only problem was speed. That's why your flare used much runway than expected and your angle was too low. If you were facing a nice lateral wind, we would understand, but the approach is somewhat straight. Just another hint: next time, film from the sunny side, not the darker one. :D

Any landing is good wherever you land along the runway, as long as you dont overrun it. Nice landing. I have seen professional pilots in videos land halfway down to the runway, usually to reduce taxi time.

nice smooth landing butt u landed too late on the runway!! m1r3o is rightt it can be dangerous in real life because in real life safety's always first and with 300-500 people on board, crashing or running off the runway is the last thing u want to do.

No, the landing wasn't dangererous.

But if you land in the middle of the landing, you should do a go around.

Depends on the speed, normally with that kind of flare you will lose enough speed to land later then normal.
