We cook Geoduck in a variety of different ways. Sliced into strips and pan or deep fried. Ground up and mashed into cakes/fritters. Stuffed into manicotti shells in a seafood pasta. Once for fun I even ate some raw.
The particular clam provided the main ingredient in a delicious batch of NE clam chowder.
@AaronAcrossAmericA I wish I could do that here. I've never eaten geoduck before, but I really wanna try it sashimi style. The only place it's sold here is at an Asian market and they only carry it sporadically and it's like 15 bucks a pound. What's your average catch on any given day?

have you ever tried digging like a foot down but to the side without agroing it? then abush the neck with your bare hands before it burrows down?
