I enlarged and sharpen the same picture off a super smash brothers Dojo and I could not see the Sonic Logo very well. Im not even sure If that was the Sonic Team Logo. Someone proably thought it looked like it like me and proably edited it alot to make it look better and proably accidently EDITED it to look like the Sonic Logo so its not really proof but It the most proof I ever seen. the only way we know if he is in brawl is if nintendo confirm it on the brawl site or they release another cutscene with sonic in otherwise there is no way to know
In the end, there's no proof besides time itself, or the official word, but my guess is that there will be no word of it until we can unlock him. Assuming he's in the game of course.
With what we can do with technology, it's hard to trust any sort of photograph of a supposed "phenomena.

For all we know Sega may have agreed to have Sonic in Brawl and hes already in there. They'll probably announce at the last minute. If he were in it, then he would be really hard to unlock.
