I was there and can't believe how far my politics have diverged from this. So much of this speech has proved utterly false when evaluated after the fact. But I was smitten that day.....
You have to be left thinking: How could one man be so great, so humble, so patriotic, so helpful, and such a great leader. God bless you President Reagan, class act all the way ! I was lucky enough to go to the Reagan Library in March and I cant wait until I can take my children there when they are older... Because I can say to them `I can show you what greatness is today`.
