@thejetdrvr the thing is, I'm Brazilian, there isn't a Radioshack here in Brazil and they don't deliver here. And i cannot find this switch online anywhere. I supose i am not going to be able to make this box. :/
you should make a flap over the hole where the arm comes out of and paint it the color of the wood so nobody would know that it is a leave me alone box
It can't go useless. Just attach a little thin plate to the switch and a metal piece at the end of the arm, it becomes a calling bell on your office desk.
This the most useless project I've ever seen, wasted my time. Immature go now and try this out and waste some more of my time. I love it, I would put a " don't turn me on sign" can't resist can't resist can't resist
ive been looking for some good instuctions for ages, im not the best person at building things but u've made the instuctions as simple and clear as possible, thanks mate :)
I'm trying to build one that encorporates a lock inside the box, where there is something worthwhile locked in the box and the only apparant way to unlock it and get the object is to flip the switch and get it out before the box turns itself off again.
Thank you for the instructions, I'm making my own leave me alone box :D

Maybe you could put some lead weights in there so its heavy enough to prevent it from sliding when you press the button.
