@JulixHartley You are the product of a society that has so spoiled and coddled you that you cannot think logically anymore. Your statements make that clear.
"guns in hands of people" Guns don't kill. People using guns kill. Food doesn't make you fat. People eating too much food makes them fat. If you cannot understand those simple concepts, then the rest is just wasted breath.

"obestity" The current obesity epidemic is very simple. Lots of people eating a lot more calories than they expend over long periods of time. Has nothing to do with where the calories came from, or how many ingredients they have.
wow, you better hope to god that if someone breaks into your house and you need to grab your gun for protection that they are not in a hurry to go get you. That is a bunch of hippy crap laws you all have up there in never never land. :(
My guns have been instructed to kill all sorts of people but the lazy things that they are just refuse to get out of their storage place and do as instructed. I am disappointed at the anti-gun lobby for making me think guns have independent action capability. The ammo is just as stubborn, they refuse to leave their boxes and hop into the guns. Anyone have suggestions to correct this rampant insubordination?
Great video! I actualy did one of these tests myself where I put a loaded gun on a table facing me (it was a dangerous test!) And I sat there and ordered it to shoot me. I then yeled at it to shoot me and proceeded to call it al kinds of nasty names. And for some reason or another, the gun just sat there and didn't shoot me. I wonder why...
Four doors and a trigger lock. That's all? You are brave to get that close to a gun. Those things will kill you if you give them a chance. The only reason the gun didn't kill you is because it knew the round was fake. If it were a real round, it would have killed you. Guns are a lot smarter than we give them credit for. 1911s are especially dangerous because they are black and scary looking. Yes, of course I'm kidding.
@srv020865 No way, then you would have to set an age limit. M+P might give kids nightmares. Just the name is scary. You must think you are a cop or a soldier? Ok, time for a serious question. What are the laws for owning guns in Canada? Is there a permit for each gun? Is there a separate one for handguns? Is carry allowed at all? Concealed or open? Does it vary from region to region? Im sure I could look most of this stuff up, but does the Govt follow its own rules? Any favoritism?
@rb2112002 There's not enough room here to answer all those questions as our laws are so convoluted. There's been a handgun registry since the early 30's, long gun registry since the late 90's, licensing of owners since about the mid 80's (? might be off a bit, but close). You need a piece of paper for EACH and every firearm, you need authorization to transport CERTAIN types of firearms, (again to complicated to explain here). CCW does exist, but only given out to Gubberment favourites. sux
@srv020865 I too have an M&P 40. I love the accuracy. It pays off when I'm qualifying at the NY Dept of State armed guard annual recertification. The trigger reset is also right where I want it, but the initial trigger pull from a fresh reload or decock requires a little too much squeeze. And there really isn't much that can be done to modify the trigger on an M&P. It's pretty much factory built-in.
Do you have Trijicon sights on yours? I'm just wondering if it's standard.
@watchdog68 Hey my constitution loving pals! If you want a good laugh check this out "Macaw / Parrot cursing (saying WTF)" Just for laughs. My carry gun is a RIA M-1911. You just can't beat a S/A gun for trigger pull and accuracy in my opinion. I do also have a Sug P-228 in 9mm that is pretty nice.
@mattxr2i Well yeah! A trigger pull on a SA handgun is going to be comparable to the trigger reset mode on my DAO because the first shot comes from the hammer set in the cocked and ready mode. I sometimes see people carry their single actions around with the hammer at rest ... kind of defeats the whole purpose. All SA's should be carried with the hammer back!
@watchdog68 I think it's a question of how comfortable are having the hammer back on a S/A. Some people feel it's more safe to have it at the half cock rather than fully back with the safety engaged. Some are afraid the safety or the sear might slip or something. I generaly carry hammer back safety engaged.
@mattxr2i But even if the hammer did slip forward due to an accident, doesn't nearly every modern handgun have a firing pin block built in? The only way a round could fire when the hammer flies forward is if the trigger was depressed, thus engaging the firing pin block to move upward and enter the space between the hammer and firing pin. Sudden impact, jars, etc.. shouldn't cause an accidental (negligent) discharge.
@mattxr2i That is why we are trained a specific way at the armed guard recertification. We are trained to remove the handgun from the holster with the trigger finger resting on the frame (not even the trigger guard). The course is very strict. People who routinely place their fingers on the trigger, or even rest their finger along the trigger guard while unholstering, are removed from the course.
@watchdog68 A true to spec M-1911 doesn't have a firing pin block. They do however, have a half cock position that will stop the hammer from striking the firing pin should the sear slip. I was taught the same thing. I generally carry in a SERPA holster where you have to depress a button on the side to remove the gun. It gets you in the habbit of placing your finger along side the frame while unholstering and presenting the firearm.
@watchdog68 I had a similar problem when I took apart the mainspring housing and sear spring. I didn't get the sear spring in right and it wouldn't engage the hammer. Thank God I caught it before trying to load it. That is why I ALWAYS do a slide drop test after doing anything with the sear spring or mainspring housing!
@watchdog68 I|MO the trigger on an M&P is far supperior to that of a Glock. the Glocks have a long pull and seem "scratchy" to me. There actually are mods for the M&P trigger that are fairly easily completed. A fella I know has done his wifes trigger and it's way sweet compared to stock.
@srv020865 I think the trigger is a longer pull on Glocks because it's designed for bigger hands? That's just a guess. Hickok45 explained it in one of his videos, and he loves Glock handguns. Check out Hickok45. You can go into my channel and click on my subscription as an easier way of getting to his videos. He has over 100 vids and you will probably like them all.
OASN, I said Trijicon night sights before. Maybe it's Tritium.
@Makingnewnamesisdumb Yes, on most single action handguns. Upon last shot, slide stays locked back, hammer cocked, drop out empty magazine, put in full magazine, drop forward the slide action, ready to go.
@Makingnewnamesisdumb Actually it's DAO, not DA. I believe to answer your question is that there is no hammer, so single action is not an option. It is 'striker fire' technology.
Gun owners in Canada are putting up a fight to have the laws changed, but not unlike the problems US gun owners faced with prohibitions on guns like the AK etc. we are experiencing similar issues. The most daunting is that gun owners are so apathetic and don't help out in the fight.
We are trying to stem the tide of sensless, intrusive laws that are based on knee jerk reactions to an event, or even what a firearm looks like (scary black gun). We'll see how we fare soon.
@srv020865 Yea, the rules here vary widely from state to state. Im in Texas. You can buy anything you want here as long as its not full auto. We can get a concealed carry licence as long as we are not criminals, not crazy, not druggies, and can pass a proficiency test. We are also exempt from the "instant check" if you hold a CHL. In NJ, you have to have a permit for each gun, and you cant buy ammo unless you have a gun of that caliber. You cant get a CC there unless you know somebody.
@rb2112002 You can get one from certain states without being a US citizen. These states are slowly dwindling however. :-( The ones I have give me reciprocity between many states on the eastern seaboard which is where I travel a lot for business and pleasure. At least parts of the US respects my right to protect myself even if my own country doesn't seem to.
@srv020865 I didnt know that was possible. Very cool (at least when youre here). There is this shmuck from Canada who calls himself usaisadump, or something like that. He loves restrictions and loves to tell people about it too. He always talks about the higher crime rate in the US. I think he does it to piss people off because he has yet to provide any proof of anything.
@rb2112002 There are idiots like that on both sides of the border. *sigh*. He can have his restrictions and police state. I like freedom, and I like the US. Canada is starting to slide down the slippery slope that the UK did. We hope to stop that slide. Next time you are talking to him ask him if the higher crime rate has anything to do with the population in the US VS Canada. Also mention that violent crime in states that have CC has dropped dramatically.
@srv020865 We have been back and forth with him. He uses stats that support his position. I dont argue stats because they are all tailored to fit a certain argument. Its kind of pointless. And so is he--lol.. later.
Unfortunately, Canadian law requires much more "secuirty" for your firearms than US law. Safe storage of a restriced firearm (restricted is a category which includes handguns) means locked storage of the firearm and seperate ammo storage. If a burglar shows up you are supposed to call 911 and wait. I live in a rural area. My family would all be dead by the time the police arrived.
@srv020865 that is ridiculous is'nt it? well, fuck the law, you do what you need to do to protect your family. the governments are intervening too much, making people go against sum important natural instincts like protecting your family. If you havent already watched it, please watch" suzanna gratia hupp explaining the meaning of the second amendment. "
I for one would like to see a ban on cars! They kill more people than guns do. Think about it with a gun ban we would have to rely on local police to protect us (even thought they have no legal duty to protect us). So since cars kill more people we should have to rely on local transportation. I'm not saying all transit be banned just citizens cars. We could all just take busses. Think about how many less deaths there'd be. "Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my gun."
While guns are so freely available in north america, you are basically f*cked... it would take decades to get all the guns out of your system. But you have to start somewhere, make it harder for criminals (or potential criminals) to access guns. Tighter gun controls work, period... Countries with strict gun control have lower gun crime. Violent crime with firearms is highest in the USA - why? because anyone can get a gun anywhere anytime. I am not against guns, I am for controlling who has guns
@firkasse Gun violence in the US is not a function of lack of controls. The UK banned pistols, semi-auto firearms and most anything that goes "bang" yet they have a huge problem with "gun violence". Whatever that is, as it is the people committing the crime, not the gun, as you saw in my video. You are right, we will never be rid of firearms, however, I resent being told I am not "legally" allowed to own a firearm when I know a thug can get one to use against me for a few bucks illegally.
@srv020865 Same with Australia, guns are quite strickly controled and we still have a huge problem, if anything it seems to be getting worse after tighter laws.
@firkasse In Switzerland almsot every household has a gun. Why? Because almost all men in the country must go through basic military training and when it is done they take their guns with them. It's not the guns as it is the culture. That being said why should my gun ownership be restricted? Am I going to be safer if a criminal has more guns and more firepower than me?
@firkasse You have it backwards, while guns are more prominent in America, we have less violent crimes and robberies than countries with strict gun laws. Why? Becuase the average thug has the advantage of using weapons while the victim will, in essence, be unarmed; and the thugs know it. Go to the FBI crime stats of the past few years crime over all has gone down while gun ownership has skyrocketed.
@firkasse Gun control may reduce gun crime but it doesnt reduce murder. Murder rates have not gone down in any country that has instituted gun control.
@firkasse You are a fucking idiot. Gun control doesnt work, because criminals will not follow your stupid laws. You are not against guns, you are for controlling who gets them? That is a shockingly stupid statement, even for a liberal.
@firkasse Actually the year after australia banned guns their crime rate doubled as did their murder rate, and the year after it went up even more. Englands crime rate went up after their ban. Guns are illegal in mexico and yet their gangs are armed to the teeth. Gun control is useless and kills. Guns save lives. Try actuall studying and reading books instead of coming to you own baseless conclusions based on your ignorance.
gun control will inevitabilly lead to less fatalities and violence in canada relating to guns. gun control is proven to be safer. compare european shooting rates to north america and its much different. allowing any dumbass to have a gun is a scary situation.
@1982FMJ I would like to some statistics to back up your comments. If you look to Europe, particularly the UK, which has the most stringent controls, you will find that after they banned handguns crime rates and "gun violence" went up 400%. I wouldn't call that effective.
You say we shouldn't let just any "dumbass" own a firearm. Well, why not? We let all kinds of dumbasses have kids at 16, drive cars, buy alcohol, run for public office.......
@1982FMJ lol alls that means is ppl will get stabbed beat to death, kidnapped and tortored to death instead of a shot to the head, and theres no such thing as gun controll, u wanna know y? ckuz anyone can get a gun no matter where they live in the world, and on top of that last i heard britian's biggest crime is being gunned down, n they have one of the strictest gun controll laws, the only thing gun controll does, is give more power to the government and leaves u helpless
@PAPERD0LLPRINCESS I realize that most murders are comitted by illegal firearms, my point is that government legislates me rather than the criminal. As for suicide, does it matter if it is by firearm vs pills or a rope? The person is still just as dead. Can't put it the blame all on border agents either. They are only the guys with their fingers in the dam so to speak, trying to prevent the flood. We have to admit in Canada that we have a gang problem, and an ethnic issue.
@PAPERD0LLPRINCESS Really, where do you get that statistic? In Canada, suicide by gun is very low compared to all others. But the won't forget to mention that you are MORE DEAD if you commit suicide by gun than by prescription drugs..
sry for you canadians. :Gun Control" is justa term no one knows here in krygyzstan. We own all kind of russian guns here. BTW 1911 is a rare piece around here
o no is bad for us to have guns but politicians can have a fucking security force ween the UK made all this gun law bullshit crime rate went up 460% fuck liberals
You need to do your test with a real live bullet, because the gun knows it was a fake. I did the test and my gun chased me around the house, but luckily shot a gun taking polition instead. lol.
@USSBN734 let me rephrase, food in your stomache makes you fat, just as a bullet in your brain makes you dead. -- And the bullet is made to kill just like the food is made to feed us. -- Try getting fat without food... actually depending on the definition that's not that hard, as most things North Americans eat isn't food... but we still call it that, don't we?
@JulixHartley "food in your stomache makes you fat" Wrong again. You need to learn a bit about your digestive system.
No nutrition is absorbed in the stomach. So food in your stomach does not make you fat. Also, if you are eating fewer calories than you are expending, you will lose weight, not gain.
"just as a bullet in your brain makes you dead" Again, incorrect. A bullet impacting your brain may or may not kill you
"as most things North Americans eat isn't food" You suffer pica?
@USSBN734 In fact there have been cases of people who eat a lot of stuff that may or may not be considered food (1) and still don't get fat (me for example, so far anyway). And there have been people who survived shots to the head.
Still the point was that food is intended to feed, while guns are intended to damage. - If guns in hands of people kill, why give guns to people? Why make them in the first place? America has most guns, and most crime. Having one doesn't help against the other!
"Michael Pollan’s "In Defense of Food" convincingly makes the case that much of what makes up the so-called Western diet is made up on non-food and thus is leading to our current obesity epidemic. Instead, he urges us to buy “food”, defined, inter alia, has something with less than five ingredients[, all of] which you can pronounce and your grandmother would recognise! "
Nice, I am a liberal but I have never understand why we liberals (not including me) impose laws that help the criminals and impede the law abiding citizens. Anyway, now I can rest at night without thinking one of my hands guns will get up and kill me in the middle of the night! Thanks!
Most Liberals in Canada think they know what is best for Canadians, without any knowledge of the workings of the draconian laws enacted by liberal governments. Unfortunately, most liberals tend to be urban dwellers who cannot understand the reasoning behind firearms as a hobby, let alone protecting yourself with one. You, my friend, are an exception to the rule.
Well, we here in Canada don't HAVE a second amendment right to protect, but we are certainly trying to protect what gun rights we DO have. Which unfortunately, are very few. There's been a push to show that guns, and gun owners are "bad". No matter what your walk of life, you must be a lunatic waiting to go on a shooting spree if you own guns. Likewise, people seem to have a problem understanding that PEOPLE do the killing, not the gun itself.
You made an entire 6 minute video about nothing just to simply that "guns don't kill people?" LOL! I agree though, protect our second amendment right!
This test was unscientific and innacurate, if there had been a liberal in the room that gun would have got up and fired. Nice try. Guns are evil.
And you might not want to be showing off your nice guns here on the internet, you know criminals would just love to rob a place with that many guns the gun owner cant get to in time of emergency. They'll kill you and take your keys. But i guess you got better security. Thats good.
this video is soo true i mean saying guns kill people is like saying a tooth pick can kill although they 'can' be used to kill people in most cases a gun will not kill a person in the guns working life
I've been around loaded guns all my life. My father was in law enforcement and I later went into law enforcement also. There has never been a problem with any of my weapons. A gun is simply a tool that has a variety of uses just as a hammer does. Good video, an armed society is a polite society.
I really agree. people kill people. if not with guns, then knifes, if not with knifes then with their bare hands. if people could stear some one to death they would. treat people right and people will treat you right.
I guess Canadian home invasions take place in super slo-motion? Excuse me Mr. Burglar...Could you stand right there & wait while I unlock these 2 doors, pass code my safe, unlock my firearm, chamber a bullet or two...Tell you what...Go into the kitchen, grab yourself a beer...Oh & my wife is in the master bedroom, she can keep you company until I get back. Please be quiet though...My kids are asleep, Thanks...Mr. Gun
okay, I know what went wrong with your test. you cant perform the test being a law abiding citizen...seriously, with all those "safety measures" in place I hardly noticed that is was a 1911. I take it Canada thinks handguns are paper weights?..
I bet if you had chambered that round the monster would have grown legs! CONCEAL the camera too! As far as I can tell, you are safely storing your restricted firearm.... According to the "LAW" :-(
Dern dude, with a mean ole gun like that, you sure do need all that security! Wouldnt want the gun to go on a rampage all by its self! What do you feed it? could be poor diet.
Seriosly though, with all those locks, your dead as hell if someone breaks into your place to do you harm.
And that, my friend, is my point. Canadians are being brainwashed into believing that guns just "kill" on their own. They have introduced draconian storage and transport laws that are ridiculous. You saw what I had to go through to get to my gun, but chances are, if I were "inspected" by the government, I would be found to have "unsafe storage" and charged. Don't think I'm joking either.......
I would like to start this reply by saying... FUCK CANADA!! But its not canada all by its self, it's the people! Dude, start a movement or something to get these dumb ass laws reversed. I know making this video is doing something but the Canadian people need to take a bigger stand. After all, all governements are derive power from concent of the people. Every government, everywhere. Every time they try to take gun rights from americans, we fight back.
Saying "FUCK CANADA" is not exactly fair dude. There's still lots of good stuff up here.
That being said, and more to your comments, there are Canadian versions of the "NRA". We have several pro-gun organizations representing our rights. We are fighting back. There is a movement to get the government to allow us concealed carry laws which are "Shall issue". We are moving to have the current gun laws reviewed and repealed.
Yea, that wasnt fair of me man, I know. My sister married a great Canadian guy and though I have never been there, I know that Canada has great wildlife, ecological, and social bennifits. If it werent for the gun laws, I might move there my self! Thats why I get so frustrated! Its kinda like france! Real cool place but damn, the people suck sooo bad! Dont limmit your self to Texas though. In Ga. we just past a law that you can conceal in your car and kill to defend it. =)
Now you go and say "the people suck so bad". Does that mean ME too!? :-(
I've been all over the US, Texas is one of my favourites. Was down in GA several times this past year. Beautiful spot. You say you've never been here, so don't knock it unless you've tried it. ;-) The people in the US are often thought of as obnoxious throughout the world. I think of the US as my big mouth brother, kind of annoying, but you gotta love em! We'll keep up the good fight!
You are aware that canada has 1/10 the population of the United States, spread over an area larger than the united states with only 10-11 really important cities (as in cities with a large enough population to make some people say "oh look something is happening") So with that said you have to take into consideration that not all Canadians are pro guns... And you also need to know that most pro gun owners are far away from metropolitan areas like Farms...
For most governments to take notice a large number of people need to be present and outspoken enough to tell the Government to back off... But seeing as most of these people who are pro gun live in remote areas it is unlikely that a large group of pro gun people will be large enough to make our government change its stance...
I think you would be surprised how many legal gun owners live inside city limits. I think you would be VERY surprised. Most of them don't go running down the streets proclaiming it however, as most urbanites are brainwashed into thinking that ALL guns are bad...
Good stuff man. I've got some stuff on my channel regarding our gun control, but not nearly as tongue and cheek. I'd like to get me a 1911 once I have the time to deal with the paperwork for a restricted.
Well, the NRA lobby isn't that interested in facts. The US has a huge mortality rate from handguns yet persists in spreading myths about the perils of gun control.
Sorry, I don't want to be shot (accidentally or not) by some idiot with a stolen handgun.
We license cars, dogs, even cats; what's so difficult about licensing and restricting guns and handguns in particular?
Nobody wants to be shot, correct, but the places where the most murders are committed are crawling with guns. High gun ownership seems to be related to mortality.
The NRA is a front for the weapons manufacturing cartel and the private prison industry. Their self-serving stance on gun control has cost many lives over the years.
Areas with high LEGAL gun ownership have the lower crime rates.
You are talking about criminals with guns. We can agree that they should not have guns. But then again they are criminals and do not obey laws. That is why we call them criminals.
The NRA is a front for prison cartels? LOL!
Damn I need to buy stock in Alcan. Your tinfoil is a tad tight my good man.
If I don't register my car or my animal, some kind of penalty is appropriate. Since guns are dangerous and stolen ones are responsible for deaths of innocent citizens, surely it's important to protect society. If obeying the law is important to you, you should obey it.
LOL.,........No I do not advoacte breaking the law. That is just stupid and frankly I do not have the money to fight the court battles that would be required. But I do support those who are fighting in the courts. That is how we are supposed to change things.
"The second amendment of the US Constitution is about a citizen's right to own a gun."
Fact. as a matter of fact the SC in the USA just ruled on this fact last spring.
"If everyone owned a gun, there would be a lot fewer murders"
Now we need to define "everyone" Does everyone include criminals?
"Guns don't kill people." As this video proves guns are incapable of action. Therefore it is impossible for them to kill or do anything for that matter.
"Concealed weapons permit holders are a deterrent to criminal behaviour"
Fact.............every single state that has enacted CCW has seen a drop in crime rates. You cannot argue the opposite in areas where guns are banned. In those cases crime rates go up.
Myth: Liberals care about anything other than ramming their socialist agenda down the throats of this country's citizens. Why is it that the so called tolerant liberals are not advocates for free speech in any way. Have you ever disagreed with a liberal? I think you will find they don't give a shit about free speech, especially when they are in the position where they can punish you for having a viewpoint that is different from theirs. And freedom only exists when you have an armed populous.
This is such a crock. The gun had no intention of killing anyone because the gun knew it was being video taped, and the gun also knew it only had a dummy round in it. Even a gun is smart enough to know you can't kill someone with a dummy load.
@JulixHartley You are the product of a society that has so spoiled and coddled you that you cannot think logically anymore. Your statements make that clear.

Do you have Trijicon sights on yours? I'm just wondering if it's standard.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 Hey my constitution loving pals! If you want a good laugh check this out "Macaw / Parrot cursing (saying WTF)" Just for laughs. My carry gun is a RIA M-1911. You just can't beat a S/A gun for trigger pull and accuracy in my opinion. I do also have a Sug P-228 in 9mm that is pretty nice.
mattxr2i 1 year ago
@mattxr2i Well yeah! A trigger pull on a SA handgun is going to be comparable to the trigger reset mode on my DAO because the first shot comes from the hammer set in the cocked and ready mode. I sometimes see people carry their single actions around with the hammer at rest ... kind of defeats the whole purpose. All SA's should be carried with the hammer back!
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 I think it's a question of how comfortable are having the hammer back on a S/A. Some people feel it's more safe to have it at the half cock rather than fully back with the safety engaged. Some are afraid the safety or the sear might slip or something. I generaly carry hammer back safety engaged.
mattxr2i 1 year ago
@mattxr2i But even if the hammer did slip forward due to an accident, doesn't nearly every modern handgun have a firing pin block built in? The only way a round could fire when the hammer flies forward is if the trigger was depressed, thus engaging the firing pin block to move upward and enter the space between the hammer and firing pin. Sudden impact, jars, etc.. shouldn't cause an accidental (negligent) discharge.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@mattxr2i That is why we are trained a specific way at the armed guard recertification. We are trained to remove the handgun from the holster with the trigger finger resting on the frame (not even the trigger guard). The course is very strict. People who routinely place their fingers on the trigger, or even rest their finger along the trigger guard while unholstering, are removed from the course.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 A true to spec M-1911 doesn't have a firing pin block. They do however, have a half cock position that will stop the hammer from striking the firing pin should the sear slip. I was taught the same thing. I generally carry in a SERPA holster where you have to depress a button on the side to remove the gun. It gets you in the habbit of placing your finger along side the frame while unholstering and presenting the firearm.

@mattxr2i Not to alarm you but wwwDOTokshootersDOTcom/forums/showthreadDOTphp?t=61539
It's about the RIA 1911. Check yours and be safe.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 I had a similar problem when I took apart the mainspring housing and sear spring. I didn't get the sear spring in right and it wouldn't engage the hammer. Thank God I caught it before trying to load it. That is why I ALWAYS do a slide drop test after doing anything with the sear spring or mainspring housing!
mattxr2i 1 year ago
@watchdog68 I|MO the trigger on an M&P is far supperior to that of a Glock. the Glocks have a long pull and seem "scratchy" to me. There actually are mods for the M&P trigger that are fairly easily completed. A fella I know has done his wifes trigger and it's way sweet compared to stock.
Yes, I have the night sights on mine as well.
srv020865 1 year ago
@srv020865 I think the trigger is a longer pull on Glocks because it's designed for bigger hands? That's just a guess. Hickok45 explained it in one of his videos, and he loves Glock handguns. Check out Hickok45. You can go into my channel and click on my subscription as an easier way of getting to his videos. He has over 100 vids and you will probably like them all.
OASN, I said Trijicon night sights before. Maybe it's Tritium.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 Shouldn't the hammer still be cocked after reloading?
Makingnewnamesisdumb 1 year ago
@Makingnewnamesisdumb Yes, on most single action handguns. Upon last shot, slide stays locked back, hammer cocked, drop out empty magazine, put in full magazine, drop forward the slide action, ready to go.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 So why does yours go double action after reloading?
Makingnewnamesisdumb 1 year ago
@Makingnewnamesisdumb Actually it's DAO, not DA. I believe to answer your question is that there is no hammer, so single action is not an option. It is 'striker fire' technology.
watchdog68 1 year ago
@watchdog68 Oh sorry, I thought your pistol had single action.

@rb2112002 Part 2 -
Gun owners in Canada are putting up a fight to have the laws changed, but not unlike the problems US gun owners faced with prohibitions on guns like the AK etc. we are experiencing similar issues. The most daunting is that gun owners are so apathetic and don't help out in the fight.
We are trying to stem the tide of sensless, intrusive laws that are based on knee jerk reactions to an event, or even what a firearm looks like (scary black gun). We'll see how we fare soon.
srv020865 1 year ago

At least parts of the US respects my right to protect myself even if my own country doesn't seem to.
srv020865 1 year ago
@srv020865 I didnt know that was possible. Very cool (at least when youre here). There is this shmuck from Canada who calls himself usaisadump, or something like that. He loves restrictions and loves to tell people about it too. He always talks about the higher crime rate in the US. I think he does it to piss people off because he has yet to provide any proof of anything.
rb2112002 1 year ago
@rb2112002 There are idiots like that on both sides of the border. *sigh*. He can have his restrictions and police state. I like freedom, and I like the US. Canada is starting to slide down the slippery slope that the UK did. We hope to stop that slide. Next time you are talking to him ask him if the higher crime rate has anything to do with the population in the US VS Canada. Also mention that violent crime in states that have CC has dropped dramatically.
Cheers!

@earbud83
My family would all be dead by the time the police arrived.
srv020865 1 year ago
@srv020865 that is ridiculous is'nt it? well, fuck the law, you do what you need to do to protect your family. the governments are intervening too much, making people go against sum important natural instincts like protecting your family.

I am not against guns, I am for controlling who has guns
firkasse 1 year ago
@firkasse Gun violence in the US is not a function of lack of controls. The UK banned pistols, semi-auto firearms and most anything that goes "bang" yet they have a huge problem with "gun violence". Whatever that is, as it is the people committing the crime, not the gun, as you saw in my video. You are right, we will never be rid of firearms, however, I resent being told I am not "legally" allowed to own a firearm when I know a thug can get one to use against me for a few bucks illegally.
srv020865 1 year ago
@srv020865 the uk has a huge problem with gun crime??? thats bullshit. you got anything to say that isnt a lie?
spunkternal 1 year ago
@srv020865 Same with Australia, guns are quite strickly controled and we still have a huge problem, if anything it seems to be getting worse after tighter laws.
1ohtaf1 1 year ago
@firkasse In Switzerland almsot every household has a gun. Why? Because almost all men in the country must go through basic military training and when it is done they take their guns with them. It's not the guns as it is the culture. That being said why should my gun ownership be restricted? Am I going to be safer if a criminal has more guns and more firepower than me?
xmanhockey7 1 year ago
@firkasse You have it backwards, while guns are more prominent in America, we have less violent crimes and robberies than countries with strict gun laws. Why? Becuase the average thug has the advantage of using weapons while the victim will, in essence, be unarmed; and the thugs know it. Go to the FBI crime stats of the past few years crime over all has gone down while gun ownership has skyrocketed.
PsychWardWalker 1 year ago
@firkasse Gun control may reduce gun crime but it doesnt reduce murder. Murder rates have not gone down in any country that has instituted gun control.
shananagans5 1 year ago
@firkasse You are a fucking idiot. Gun control doesnt work, because criminals will not follow your stupid laws. You are not against guns, you are for controlling who gets them? That is a shockingly stupid statement, even for a liberal.
rb2112002 1 year ago
@firkasse Actually the year after australia banned guns their crime rate doubled as did their murder rate, and the year after it went up even more. Englands crime rate went up after their ban. Guns are illegal in mexico and yet their gangs are armed to the teeth. Gun control is useless and kills. Guns save lives. 1982FMJ 1 year ago
@1982FMJ I would like to some statistics to back up your comments. If you look to Europe, particularly the UK, which has the most stringent controls, you will find that after they banned handguns crime rates and "gun violence" went up 400%. I wouldn't call that effective.

PAPERD0LLPRINCESS 1 year ago
@PAPERD0LLPRINCESS I realize that most murders are comitted by illegal firearms, my point is that government legislates me rather than the criminal. As for suicide, does it matter if it is by firearm vs pills or a rope? The person is still just as dead. Can't put it the blame all on border agents either. They are only the guys with their fingers in the dam so to speak, trying to prevent the flood. We have to admit in Canada that we have a gang problem, and an ethnic issue.

No. It is what you do with food, and with the rest of your life, that makes you fat.
Food, on its own, will rot.
USSBN734 5 months ago
@USSBN734 let me rephrase, food in your stomache makes you fat, just as a bullet in your brain makes you dead. -- And the bullet is made to kill just like the food is made to feed us. -- Try getting fat without food... actually depending on the definition that's not that hard, as most things North Americans eat isn't food... but we still call it that, don't we?
JulixHartley 5 months ago
@JulixHartley "food in your stomache makes you fat" Wrong again. You need to learn a bit about your digestive system.
No nutrition is absorbed in the stomach. So food in your stomach does not make you fat. Also, if you are eating fewer calories than you are expending, you will lose weight, not gain.
"just as a bullet in your brain makes you dead" Again, incorrect. A bullet impacting your brain may or may not kill you
"as most things North Americans eat isn't food" You suffer pica?
USSBN734 5 months ago
@USSBN734 In fact there have been cases of people who eat a lot of stuff that may or may not be considered food (1) and still don't get fat (me for example, so far anyway). And there have been people who survived shots to the head.
Still the point was that food is intended to feed, while guns are intended to damage. - If guns in hands of people kill, why give guns to people? Why make them in the first place? America has most guns, and most crime. Having one doesn't help against the other!
JulixHartley 5 months ago
(reference 1)
"Michael Pollan’s "In Defense of Food" convincingly makes the case that much of what makes up the so-called Western diet is made up on non-food and thus is leading to our current obesity epidemic.

Kellett781 3 years ago
Saying "FUCK CANADA" is not exactly fair dude. There's still lots of good stuff up here.
That being said, and more to your comments, there are Canadian versions of the "NRA". We have several pro-gun organizations representing our rights. We are fighting back.
Darlowe 3 years ago
For most governments to take notice a large number of people need to be present and outspoken enough to tell the Government to back off... But seeing as most of these people who are pro gun live in remote areas it is unlikely that a large group of pro gun people will be large enough to make our government change its stance...
Darlowe 3 years ago
I think you would be surprised how many legal gun owners live inside city limits. I think you would be VERY surprised. Most of them don't go running down the streets proclaiming it however, as most urbanites are brainwashed into thinking that ALL guns are bad...

The deaths you speak of actually occur in Areas of the USA in which in many cases the laws are actualy more strict than Canada.
Do you think ANYONE wants to be shot?
Here is an idea. Follow the NRA example and back laws that keep criminals in jail! That program is working. it is calle project exile.
We do not have to license cars. Again you prove you know little (but I am trying to help).
More on dogs and cats and cars coming
EESASTORM 2 years ago
No, I'm not wearing a uniform.
Nobody wants to be shot, correct, but the places where the most murders are committed are crawling with guns. High gun ownership seems to be related to mortality.
The NRA is a front for the weapons manufacturing cartel and the private prison industry. Their self-serving stance on gun control has cost many lives over the years.
mcresearch 2 years ago
Actaully that is not factual.

Ok.....
If you have a car (call it a BMW) and some idiot gets drunk driving the same model BMW as you.
Does it seem fair that YOUR BMW be confisacted?
When was the last time the govement came in and confisacted all cats or dogs that were registered?
Since when do you get a criminal record or jail time when you did not register your car, dog or cat?
EESASTORM 2 years ago
If I don't register my car or my animal, some kind of penalty is appropriate. Since guns are dangerous and stolen ones are responsible for deaths of innocent citizens, surely it's important to protect society. If obeying the law is important to you, you should obey it.
mcresearch 2 years ago
Ah there you are wrong again.
A gun simply cannot be responsible for anything what so ever.
You are confusing guns with Criminals.
Obeying BAD laws is not important. Fighting bad laws and working to develop good laws is important.
EESASTORM 2 years ago
Are you advocating breaking the law?
Obeying the law is important. You can't just arbitrarily decide which laws to obey - that's a two-edged sword.
If you don't agree with it, yes, fight to change it.
mcresearch 2 years ago
LOL.,........No I do not advoacte breaking the law. That is just stupid and frankly I do not have the money to fight the court battles that would be required. But I do support those who are fighting in the courts. That is how we are supposed to change things.
The big problem is EDUCATING the people.

You do know of course that there is no law in Canada that requires you to register your car..
RIght?
As to protecting Canadian Society of course that is important.
That is why I support CCW for Canadians.
I find carrying my own police officer rather tiresome.

While we are at it.
Could you be so kind as to list a few of these "myths" for me?
I am curious as all get out to know what they are.

A Few Myths:
Freedom and gun control cannot co-exist.
People need access to guns to protect them from the government.
Gun owners are a generally responsible group.
The second amendment of the US Constitution is about a citizen's right to own a gun.
Guns don't kill people.
If everyone owned a gun, there would be a lot fewer murders.
Concealed weapons permit holders are a deterrent to criminal behaviour.

"Freedom and gun control cannot co-exist."
It depends on what you call gun control. As an absolute this is factual.
"People need access to guns to protect them from the government."
What do you propose they use then? Guns seem to be the only option that I am aware of that has worked hisorically.
"Gun owners are a generally responsible group."
Fact. I get my Gun owner insurance (5 million per year) for $7 per year. (note I see Rugby association is having trouble with this)

There you go you are Zero for seven.

And freedom only exists when you have an armed populous.
fatoni698 2 years ago 3
This is such a crock. The gun had no intention of killing anyone because the gun knew it was being video taped, and the gun also knew it only had a dummy round in it. Even a gun is smart enough to know you can't kill someone with a dummy load.

Geee.
It's a "crock" that people buy into the Liberal fear-mongering about firearms.
