2:15 Do you mean that they literally seem to be in the space of your room, or that there appears to be depth inside the frames of the television, behind the 'screen surface'?
A 3DTVs now showing so much improvement than the last year. Its glasses became lightweighted, display better picture with higher refresh rate, and have more cool features in the TV set. However, flickering issue can't be never changed on active set, so I bought passive 3D TV from LG which uses the same technology in Cinema, and it is quite satisfying. It has wider viewing angle than Samsung and uses totally a flicker free glasses on top of all the features that samsung provides. I love it <3
nice review and so true about the flickers. They're so frustrating. I prefer passive 3D TVs because they are flicker free. Living with a LG 3D TV for 2 months now and havent had a single flicker problem.
I find the pictures are so perfect that it seems real. This may sound like a good thing but it makes it seem like the 1990's also you see every movement in the shows. All your favourite shows start to look amateur
My dad has one of these TV+Glasses kits. The 3D effect is more subtle than you might think -- the flicker too isnt bad. When you first put on the glasses you notice some slight flickering but you quickly get used to it and stop noticing it. Also the 3D TVs output at 120hz (the images display on the screen at twice the normal rate) and so each eye shutter opens/closes at 60hz (the standard TV refresh rate) so it's not too noticable. I managed to watch a full length film with no discomfort.
I have a solution . How about we open the door and go see a real ballet? or go to the beach to see the ocean in real 3D? Did we forget that there is a real "3D' world out there?
@tabamoura maybe we want our tvs to have that option for movies like tron or Scary films to enjoy them more?derp lol its like an old 247 year old ancient man saying "why do you need airplanes when you can just ride a boat"
@ALBIONTYKE well, i think you´ll have to stick to 2D tvs... try the new nintendo 3ds and check if you can see the 3D. probably in the near future tvs wont need glasses.
I don't get what is so fun about 3d gaming and movies. It's not even 3D. It's just images that pop out at you. It's retarded just gives me a headache real 3d will be virtual reality not fucking popping images.
@ShutUpNtellMe I know what u mean and i agree with that. but I've read a article, LG launching new product and that product have no flicker. So I'll try LG one
at first, i thought he meant that the tv weighed 3000 lbs. and I was like "what the fuck!!!" but then i figured out he was british and the money was that... lol
Thanks for this review. It is useful for me and I respectfully request your permission to share this link to my website. 3d tv technology is interesting and very exciting.
@jukeboxpyscho ... Sony makes a much better active shutter glass... where only the tv image is shuttered by the glasses... not everything blacks out... like in Samsung and Panasonic.
I don't even have a 3D TV but at a panasonic store they let me try one out and they are awesome! The picture really comes out close to you, you don't see the flickering of the glasses on the screen- only outside of the screen, they are so good that you don't care that your wearing glasses! WORTH IT!!!
ok all i saw was just a normal LCD tv where the fuck is the 3D there is no way this will convince me into buying one of these unless i test it myself.
I just bought one a couple days ago for $1599 and it came with the glasses and
3-D Bluray player and wifi connect. I'm taking it back. Why? And you didn't hear these jack asses say one thing about it. In the corners there is light coming from back of TV, looks like clouding. It is very distrcting when you are watching a 3d program. Other than that it's brillant. 3D looks amazing and clear.
Hmmm tv that cost as much as a used car, need glass that cost several hundred of dollars and needs special equipment and a 3d blue ray to go with it. Not to mention the strain on the eyes. Well let's see thats 4,000 grand. I maybe young but not stupid and mindless. I hate when corporation shove expensive tech and says that's the new norm now. I buy me a led HDTV 1080p for $700 and be happy.
i have a question for anyone who can answer honestly. Are the 3D glasses bad for your eyes? The flicker from the glasses seems like it might do damage after awhile.
Forinstance, I've seen photographic images that can produce that kind of 3d feel: as if it is coming out at you..and this is without glasses. I forgot what they're called.
I'm not impressed by those 3d tvs. What would impress me more is if you can experience this 3d without glasses at all. That's just too much money to throw at this early.
@Creationcreed well, that's the tricky part because 3D needs to fool each eye seperately so that each eye sees a differents perspective of the film, just like real life (Each eye sees a different perspective of what's actually happening) That's why cinema prjects 2 seperate images of the film. Look it up on google or something. With a television...I don't know. How can you create two seperate images with only one screen? (See the glass you wear as two extra screens)
3d tv only works with good eye sight. So many people have poor sight. I can't view 3d for more than 5 mins without getting a massive headache. If you wear glasses you'll be forced to use contacts to watch 3d. I can't see these tv's being a success in the long run.
@xkakax actually I have an eye disease...I'm very slowly going blind. Seems to me you're the one who's retarded since you can't even spell simple words.
@ThePantyDroper what did i spell wrong, because? cus is short for because, fyi. how am i suppose to know you have an eye disease, you didnt specify that.
Ive got a 50" 3DTV, could someone tell me how I can use the ethernet channel for internet via a HDMI High Speed 1.4v with a Ethernet channel built in?
i think that plasma 3d tvs are better than the LED or LCD ones but they do cost a bit more. i have one and one downside is that very little content, whether it be movies or games, can be viewed in 3d
the two people in this video do not know what they are talking about . i have this tv and it is the best tv i have ever had in my life. they should put the tv on the stand then do the test again.
So i have this exact tv and i love it. The reason the glasses we flickering in because they were too close to the tv. Dont take video advice from a dumb brit wearing glasses. This tv is bomb. And for the retards out there u could turn 3d off and have a sick led tv.
turn off 3D? that defeats the purpose of buying one... we need to show these coporate bastards that we dont want to wear glasses while we watching tv. especially if we alrealdy wearing one. stop this gimmick and they need to invest their time and effort on making better upcoversion software built in the hdtv.
i always wanted to wear big stupid glasses when i watched tv... and i always wanted to waste money on 10 big stupid glasses when i have company over. fuck that.
this 3d gimick needs to stop. we are barely transition innto HD format. when we watch tv now, i see various aspect ratio on every channel and its a mess!!! it also does not serves any pupose in movies. if you ask me, the only reason we should have 3d is when you are in that enviornment as a virtual reality... unless these 3D images pops out of the tv and start giving me a bj, i'll stick with the hd.
There should be no flicker... if the screen draw is done at 120fps (with 60fps per eye) then the picture should be steady as watching 60 fps off a standard BluRay.
DLP TV's rule for 3D... I think they're pushing LCD panels too much and haven't gotten the pixels to flop cleanly enough (it's gotta be discrete for each eye with no remnants of the prev frame). With time they'll get the LCD screens up to par. I'm spoiled by my Samsung DLP though! Theatrical bright and vivid !
@lilvin69 I was fucking joking calm down asshole! Ever heard of a joke? You think you can say what ever you want to me just because your behind a computer screen... I bet you a million dollar you wouldn't have sad to me in person... And BTW you can take Justin Bitcher and show him up your ass, listen to real music fucktard!
@sameerislam1999 i think you can only watch movies that is made for 3D, it wont work on just any video since it is quite new and not everyone can afford it. But dont worry, after 10 years everythiing will be available in 3D, movies, games and even normal TV channels! 4D at that time will be the new thang! lol
@sameerislam1999 actually you can by the 2d to 3d conversion option but let me tell you that this is very expensive compared to panasonics 3d plasma gt25 its no 1 these days
i've just bought the 50" tv, 3D blue ray and 3 glasses for £1048, no idea where that £3k came from. Its a really good tv with amazing quality had no trouble with the glasses from a 4-5meter distance. its brilliant to play games on to!

Passive 3d is terrible and is not consistent.
I stop going to 3d films at the cinema due to the quality. I have a direct 3d tv that wipes the floor with the passive cinema 3d.
You talk about cost every time I go to the cinema with my family it cost allot of money.

turn off 3D? that defeats the purpose of buying one... we need to show these coporate bastards that we dont want to wear glasses while we watching tv. especially if we alrealdy wearing one. stop this gimmick and they need to invest their time and effort on making better upcoversion software built in the hdtv.

i always wanted to wear big stupid glasses when i watched tv... and i always wanted to waste money on 10 big stupid glasses when i have company over. fuck that.
mychokehold 1 year ago
@mychokehold 50 inch 3d tv 750$ cheaper than an hdtv. plus you can just turn the 3d off and not wear glasses

buy silver or gold food weapons for the coming collapse ....3d tv is not useful

this 3d gimick needs to stop. we are barely transition innto HD format. when we watch tv now, i see various aspect ratio on every channel and its a mess!!! it also does not serves any pupose in movies. if you ask me, the only reason we should have 3d is when you are in that enviornment as a virtual reality... unless these 3D images pops out of the tv and start giving me a bj, i'll stick with the hd.

Theatrical bright and vivid !

can you watch any tv show in 3d or do u have to buy a movie and play it on the tv
sameerislam1999 1 year ago
@sameerislam1999 i think you can only watch movies that is made for 3D, it wont work on just any video since it is quite new and not everyone can afford it. But dont worry, after 10 years everythiing will be available in 3D, movies, games and even normal TV channels! 4D at that time will be the new thang! lol
macrochipss 1 year ago
@sameerislam1999 actually you can by the 2d to 3d conversion option but let me tell you that this is very expensive compared to panasonics 3d plasma gt25 its no 1 these days

i've just bought the 50" tv, 3D blue ray and 3 glasses for £1048, no idea where that £3k came from. Its a really good tv with amazing quality had no trouble with the glasses from a 4-5meter distance. its brilliant to play games on to!
