I have oil on top of the engine block (the cap was loose and oil came out of the engine). Now I am trying to clean up the mess but not really sure what I should use to take the grease off. any help would be helpful.
I'm amused at how you North Americans pronounce the word "Aluminium". We Brits call it "a-li-min-yum", as opposed to "a-loo-mi-num". Spelt the same way (of course).
thank you! been trying to find a way to clean my tranny....i used "Purple Power" and it left dark stans witch are very hard to get off. I guess i have to use less and more water.
I've tried a few products and procedures myself and have come to the conclusion that elbow grease S.O.S./ Brillo pads work the best removing heavier dirt and deposites and I follow up with the napa aluminum brightener. I being trying to bring my 76 Moto Guzzi back as close to it's original condition as I can can. I'm still not there. I called my older brother who's had several vintage bikes and asked him what I could use to clean my aluminum he said "yes, there's this stuff called elbow grease"
Dirty smut!!!!

@Strawberry7Lynn No it's not spelled the same. "Aluminium is the UK spelling. Also, Your pronunciation is different than what I've heard from the UK.
