WRC would be sexist if it did any of the following a) denied that men could be victims b) denied that women could be perpretrators c) implied that men are naturally violent d) implied that all men are violent

however it does not do this. (they have a phone number for male victims on their website) Gender spefific campaigns are needed because the dynamics and issues involved are different. Support for men (at least here in the UK) does exist and helplines are advertised.

BOYCOTT BREAST CANCER CHARITIES! ALL CANCER NEEDS TACKLING! I just wanted to make the point that having campaigns soley focused on 'violence against women' is not sexist because a)most violence is against women b) the forms and methods of violence are different than that against men c)some sections of society have a culture that condones and promotes anti-female to a greater extent than the reverse b) antisexism campaigns by men aimed at other men are need to change these attitudes.
