  • .42!!?

  • I'm a cashier and people try to do this and it's a pain in the fuckin ass, they will have 10 coupons, for one item, they will wanna use them ALL for the one item, the damn coupon says ONE per purchase, and they wanna make a fuss.

  • Fucking ellipsis stop raping the period button

  • what are the coupon sites she goes to?

  • couponing is for GAYS

  • @PranksOnSkanks Given that the average cost of being gay in America is approximately $400,000 over one's life time (those marriage tax laws are pretty fantastic!), it is probably a good idea for them to do so.

  • It's a waste of time this extreme couponing... I've never seen them buying non frozen vegetables and fruits. Only frozen food... I watched 2 women on a show on TV with coupon shopping... WHY THE HECK WOULD PEOPLE BUY PEANUT BUTTER TO LAST THEM FOR 6-7 MONTHS IN A FAMILY OF 3(mom, dad and a teenage son)????

  • No top comment ?

  • wow people are dumb... we all have the same rights to the coupons they just take advantage of it... so if you think other people are paying for them using coupons ur retarded... all those other people could of grabbed some coupons to duh internet if full of dumb retards that try and prove their point over a youtube vid LOL

  • That is bullshit... That is bullshit... Wow... Just wow!

  • Stupid Americans. Buy an extra newspapers. Not so you will learn basic geography and basic science, like that the Earth is older than 6000 years or that Africa is not a country, but so you will save money and can buy more food making sure that your entire family stays obese.

  • @TrulyAntiTheist Someone's jealous of our country. Coupons are cool. Don't hate.

  • @goofygoober67 Actually coupons used to be very common where I live but we evolved. If you want a discount you just show your membership card and it's all done electonically. The store managers are even more stupid because in many cases they let the customers combine coupons so the customers end up getting paid to bring home groceries.

  • @TrulyAntiTheist alot of times it's not against the "rules" to use a membership card and coupons combined, so if neither the membership nor the coupons say you can only use one, then you mise as well use both and save twice as much.

  • If stores don´t want people doing this why are there so many coupons? Where I live this isn't even possible. We sometimes do have coupons but then it's mostly two for the price of one and there's always a max. There's no way you can get so much on just coupons. Maybe two or three but that's it.

  • Epic

  • 1. Extreme couponers do not just abuse manufactures, they also abuse store coupons, store specials, and store promotions. These are loses incurred by the store.

    2. It doesn’t matter who loses (the store or the manufacture) they will eventually pass the loss on to other customers.

    3. If you get 1000 dollars of merchandise for 100 dollars someone loses but since the costs are always redirected back to other customers, we all pay.

  • @jesshansen1 No, manuf. and store coupons are made mostly to clear inventory/replenishment. Extreme couponers take advantage of that while other people don't even know.

  • Comment removed

  • @gabrielbeals

Tell yourself whatever you want to make yourself feel better. Believe me I work in retail. Buying $1000 worth of merchandise for $100 or less does not help the store. Every dollar that the store loses MUST be passed on to other customers or be absorbed by variable expenses (ex. labor). You are benefiting at the expense of others without contributing anything to society. That is the definition of parasitic activity.

  • @jesshansen1 aren't the stores guilty themselves? They are the ones giving the coupons and they are the ones making this possible. Make a rule like we have and extreme couponing isn't possible anymore.

  • @Saartje05

Is it your fault when the mosquito sucks your blood? Promotions are created with everyone in mind and a few people abuse them and all other customers have to pay to make up the difference. You are however correct rules limiting purchases will eventually be introduced because some greedy pigs have no sense of decency.

  • @jesshansen1 They´re not greedy, they´re smart. I´m surprised not more people do this, especially in these days.

  • @Saartje05

You ever watch that show? The greedy pigs take all of one product so others get NOTHING. They buy way more than they need, and store 100 boxes of soap in their basement. If that is not greedy then I don’t know what is. Most people have better things to do your some level of self-respect. Most people don’t want to be THAT person standing in line slowing everyone else down.

  • @jesshansen1 I actually just watched two shows in a row on TLC. And again, if stores don´t want this to happen then put a max on it. If they don´t, then they shouldn´t complain. It´s that simple. Let me guess, you own a store? And no, it's not greedy, it's a way of living. These people found a way to feed their family without spending to much money. I think it's great. And it's up to the store's manager to be sure people don't stand in line. Again, quite simple.

  • @Saartje05

Again, they buy way more than they need which deprives others of promotion. Over the course of time you will certainly see limits on sales items since these pigs have not concern for others. They are abusing the system and driving up costs on other customers. You are correct it is a way of living. However a way of living that benefits yourself at the cost of others without creating anything is parasitic.

  • @jesshansen1 then change it.

  • @jesshansen1 amen sister!

  • i just found out about this show right now on rachael ray, im wandering does this only really work in America or does it also work in other countries?

  • If they didn't want people to use coupons then why waste tree and print a bunch in every sunday paper then? Let these couponers use their coupons because they're passionate about saving money. It harms us but hey maybe we should all do the same thing.

  • Does any 1 know what episode Chrystie corns is on?

  • dont ppl no these things they buy have exparation dates ??

  • @rubzydimond that's what I'm always thinking when I see them buy hundreds of canned food etc.

  • This is complete bullshit, they should be required to eat every coupon they use. Surely they're aware of how wildly inconvenient and unfair this is to everyone involved. Grrr :/

  • @stranger12349876 Stop judging people when you dont even know their situation .. I have a college degree and my wife and I both work hard, full time (nursing for her and IT ) and still struggle with bills from check to check. Its a RECESSION! Plenty of families work hard and still struggle just to make it, but obviously you haven't been affected. Its really ignorant to assume that just because familes want to save money on their expenses that they arent working. Try thinking with an open mind!

  • @havyn809, single white men who play video games for a living, live in their parents house & don't buy their own groceries (unless you count heal potions & foods with bonus qualities for immediate health ups for their character) wont hesitate to criticize working people with families but I bet his mom uses coupons & shops for sales to feed him. Why is it always 20 something video gaming fat white guys who criticize other people's frugality? Entitlement much?

  • These stupid people should go get a real job...and they will make 1000 bucks a week rather than saving 140 bucks a week through couponing and showing yellow tooth smile for it..! Funny part comes when these women think they r smart and start teaching classes to other dummies..!

  • milf

  • I recently retired after a number of years as a successful business woman. My monthly budget has been reduced significantly. So I have started couponing to help provide basics for items I need -- I've seen some people refer to themselves as 'moderate couponers'. I want to use coupons as effectively as possible. By purchasing sales items and using coupons, I've reduced my monthly grocery and paper product purchases by 30%. It's a real blessing.

  • I thought u couldnt combine offers.?

  • Im jealous!

  • People need to stop hating, what they are doing is taking advantage of a system that is completely legal, if the stores get screwed over its their fault not the customers.

  • @robair9911

The stores get reimbursed for the coupon amounts. Coupons are both the stores' and the manufactuerers' way to get people to purchase their products.

  • @sparker2636

The idea of the coupon is to promote a product by giving a small discount to many customers. Extreme couponers buy ALL of the product and regular customers get nothing, and the store and the manufacture do not get value out of the promotion. Losses from extreme couponers raise prices and lower employee pay.

  • @jesshansen1 , generally the store is giving discounts on items of OVERSTOCK that they have to get rid of, so there goes your argument.

  • @tmomof6

If a store loses money on a product, the goal is to get as many customers in the door as possible in hopes of selling other products. That is called a loss leader. The idea certainly isn't for one pig to grab all of the product.

  • @tmomof6

There is NO set of conditions where selling 1000 dollars of merchandise for 10 dollars or ever 100 dollars is profitable. But keep telling yourself whatever will make you feel better.

  • @jesshansen1 That why we have a max. Mostly two per person. Problem solved.

  • Comment removed

  • @jesshansen1

Not everyone - please be realistic.

I saw where one family that extreme coupons (N. Carolina) set up a food pantry out of their house -- they give free items to those in need. Some of the people donate to food banks/pantries and provide items to the families of our military.

  • @sparker2636

If an extreme couponer buys 1000 dollars of product for 10 dollars then the store losses money. The store passes on the loss to other customers by increasing prices or cutting employee pay. The extreme couponers are not donating anything, the employees and the other customers are donating the food because they ultimately pay for it. Extreme couponers use loopholes in the rules to benefit at our expense. And that is parasitic.

  • @jesshansen1, their not stealing. the manufacturer pays the store that value of the coupon plus shipping and handling. The store still gets their money,Sparker

  • @niggaflies, its a win-win-win situation. The store gets money from the company manufacturing the coupon, the customer gets free/ reduced price products and the coupon company gets higher sales and more product recognition

  • Extreme couponers are nothing but extreme parasites. The idea is that things go on sale and everyone gets ONE, not one hog gets all. Every time you see an extreme couponer hogging all of one product it hurts other customers, they don’t get one and the store has to other raise prices to make up for losses. It also hurts the store because customers will be upset because the store is out.

  • @jesshansen1 What is your opinion of someone like me, who cleans out shelves at a time when I buy food for food banks, and then pays with MONEY? Unless a store enforces a limit, there is no such thing as "one per customer". If a store accepts a coupon and experiences a loss, it is the fault of no one but the store.

  • @MollyAnnMissie

We had people like you that would buy nothing but promo items from my store and tell us that they were giving them to charity. In reality our store was giving them to charity because the store bought the item and resold it at a loss in the hopes of drumming up additional business, which they didn’t get.

  • @jesshansen1 I am sorry that you've had a bad experience with bulk shoppers. I am a bulk food shopper, and yes, it does go to my local food bank. I buy things in bulk because it is more economical in time and dollars. I buy things that are needed, whether they are on sale or not. I buy store brands because it benefits the store. I use the points I rack up to buy more items. I shop at local stores that don't see the business of Wal-Mart. I am not a couponer: I buy things with my own money.

  • @jesshansen1 that's the store's fault then.

  • ...WHAT?

  • DAMN, give some of that to the homeless. for god sake -.-

  • @DarkFroslass some do, i personally believe that they should only keep enough to last them til the next sale and donate the rest to the needy

  • I really like her shirt, lawls!

  • WTF!!! I spent $100 on 4 bags of groceries last week damn teach me how to save

  • It's nice to hear that she buys an extra copy of HER local paper for the coupons. Trading coupons, or mailing to other couponers etc is wrong! This abuses the system that was put in place originallly. This is just another form of obsessive compiulsive disorder. I was behind a lady at the drug store where dish soap was .97 and she took them all and did not leave me one bottle even though she knew I was waiting for her to move so I could get one.

  • The problem with this is that in Canada the coupons have all kinds of stipulations on them where they can't be used in conjunction with any other coupon, offer or sale, limit of one per customer per visit, that kind of thing. And you RARELY get anything for free, at most you save half off or something like that.

  • @RoccoMcCallister than you! i always say this too,i don't get how these people do this when every coupon i've ver seen has some sort of stipulation

  • A lot of the people who do this donate food or feed their churches, having a supply is fine if none of it goes to waste!

  • "This is like gold" WTF?

  • you extreme tight ass fucking humans deserve to be destroyed with impunity. I would watch that on TLC.

  • @anamais666 lol ur so right!!!!

  • It sucks that it's not possible to save like that in Canada...Most of the coupons here aren't even worth using..the coupons have fine print saying that they are not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion and meaning most can only be used once even if you have a ton of them..no chance of getting hundreds or thousands of dollars in free stuff here.

  • @percaine Yep,.i always wonder how people do this,i've never seen a coupon without fine print limiting what you can do with it.

  • @MDK22420 you got that right! fine print makes it almost impossible to do what they claim they can do on the show..maybe it would have been possible in the good old days...even then I seriously doubt it.lol

  • Hi I have a Coupon Extreme tracking spreadsheet tutorial in my videos if anyone is looking for one. I love Extreme Couponing!

  • @dealkraze i would LOVE to run you over with my 4X4

  • .42 fucking cents and still I spend about 800 dollars every week on groceries

  • im getting my food free too its called FOOD STAMPS BITCHES XD

  • Can't believe the (-) comments here! :P

What I see are a bunch of envious people that are too lazy to do the math & work it entails.

Sure it sees extreme, but I know if I had the room I would stockpile for at least a year. WHY? Because when the economy eventually tanks, and it will, the ones that will survive are the ones that had for the foresight to think ahead.

Course being on the show they'll probably end up dead b/c starving & desperate people will now know where to go...

  • @666999fbi People like you represent the idiocy of today.

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot My dad does it.

  • as a cashier i must say instead of extreme couponing to save money jus try and buy wat u need... this program is morbid

  • she sure saves alot

  • I don't see how you guys redflagged "hoarders". Looked like any old person with a ton of stuff in line at a store to me. Assumptions, lol

  • LOL. People need to realize its not a crime to coupon things. Stores gets reimbursed for every product coupon scanned. No scam. Perfectly legal within limits outlined. The trick to couponing is buying what you need.

  • you can fet free coupons from the free lyers. it's easy to collect them when you get the flyers for free and you get more when you go to the store. i know coz i get these stuffs free everyday and i just didn't know it can work like this. lol!

  • This is so dumb! You're not really saving money if you buy so much you cannot possibly eat it! i would rather spend $100 on food and eat every last bit of it than spend $.42 when the majority of it would sit and rot and end up in the garbage can anyways.

  • @prankmeplease Agreed wasting anything is terrible. It is always best to use every last bit instead of throwing it away. However, I would have to slightly disagree with your perception that the additional items would be wasted. Additional items may be donated to charities, such as churches, homeless shelters, etc.... With that said, nothing should waste (though some people do get attached to things). Try to look for the good in everything and your life will be all the richer.

  • Now that's a Woman!

  • 0:29 bewbs

  • to me, these people are technically hoarders. i mean the time that takes them to finish their food, half of it would have been expired. I would like it if they only coupon for the stuff they need and donate the rest to church, homeless, soup kitchens, etc.

  • This is a LIE. Go look at every coupon your store offers and see if you can even save half as much.

For instance BUY 1 Salad and get a Dressing FREE (Coupon) ..salad= $4, right there you are already in $4 nowhere near what she paid.

If this is true I will pay her $200 to grocery shop for me and I will have her get $600 worth of groceries and even if she pays $200 I am still saving $200 after she gets paid. I dare you..let me hire you so I can expose the lie which is EXTREME COUPONING!

  • @agenthelios1 i respect your answer but I'm sticking to my opinion. The people technically hoard the stuff they buy. i mean the amount of food they buy, it will take them a lot of time, unless they're donating it. I like some of the contestants on the show becasue they coupon for a good cause. Others buy stuff that they dont even need. this causes the people who need the product to be empty handed.

  • @agenthelios1 Part one .. It's not just coupons it's stacking several coupons on one or more item..which the store allow along with a sale like buy get or free or 50% off. Then you take stores like Walgreen's that allow all this plus you get register rewards(which is anywhere 2.00 to 8.00 per specially marked item.)

  • @agenthelios1 part two.. and overages(Say I got a coupon for three dollars on an item but it on sale for a dollar-fifty ,well some stores like Walgreens and wall-mart allow you to take balance of the coupon and roll it over to another item). And that doesn't began to cover in store specials and freebies that you can get ..oh so easy. So be a nay sayer you all you want --IT WORKS --you just got to know how use all these and obviously you don't..it's sad for you but have a nice day . :)

  • @daylanrayne Like I said This "extrem couponing" is justa myth. I challenge anyone that thinks this is possible to take $600 I give you and go buy groceries totaling $600 before coupons and if its less than $200 AFTER the coupons I will pay you $1000. No bullshit! No one will do it, I put an ad in my local paper and it ran for 2 weeks, no one responded. .....because its a myth and just a show (like all other "reality" shows....its FAKE)

  • What if they all expire after they buy hem

  • they are Greedy... this is clearly misusing the purpose of coupons!!

  • do we have to have the loyality store card??? O.o Is it free?

  • Now i know why this isn't allowed in florida because it's FRAUD!

  • The more these people take advantage of the coupon system, the more it'll hurt the rest of us. Manufacturers watch this show, as well as grocery stores. They will eventually make sure that this hoarding stops by placing limits on coupons and restrictions.

  • @zardcat1111 i guess this bitch wants to be her so badly but can't! no brains or what?

  • @zardcat1111, nope because they know that people like you will not bother, because its work.

  • @tmomof6 So you're saying more people aren't going to follow this trend? Look at all the new youtube videos based off the concept. Next time you post a comment, put your personal hatred towards posters aside and think.

  • Damn, where I come from the coupons are like "Save .50 cents", not "Save $2.00"

  • this is borderline fraud

  • i understand buying 20 shampoos since those stuff actually lasts long and gets used fast especially if you have a big family but buying 100 mustards or something just because you have coupon on that nonono

  • I'm sure the cashier was like "oh shit here we go again...."

  • I like looking at subhuman freaks so im all for this

  • oh dear consumerism..

  • Comment removed

  • I saw this show on TLC last night and I figured it had to be fake but I guess its real.... These stores must have very liberal coupon rules.

  • Crazy Kitchen Bitch

  • What the F?

    Is this true?

    42c of 167$ ist 1/397 o.o

I think I'm going to move to the US :D (Here in Germany, Coupons always say something like "may not be combined with another coupon or things that are for sale" =( )

  • I hate these greedy lowlives ,this is not saving money ,its hoarding and eventually raise the price for everybody else .Some of these live in nice sururban homes yet they look for ways to get everything for free ,shameful ,assuming everyone that goes to the store decides to clean out the store with coupons ,so what about the rest of us that are willing to pay for what we need ,what are we gonna buy when these cheap parasites have already clean out the store.I titled this show American Shame

  • Used to be a cashier and this leads to a long line but to he'll with those folks behind you. We in a recession and you trying to save money, right? I'm not mad at all. Save that money and get it how u can.

  • I think its great! More power to them. And in this economy its DEFINITELY needed! And if you're a cashier and don't want to do your job, Quit!!

  • as a target cashier, let me just say that this is terrifying.

someone walks up to your lane with 100 bucks of merchandise and pays like 10 bucks for it? that doesn't impress me - it's just scary, and most of the time that screen pops up that says "coupon item not found" or something where we have to either decline it or accept it by OUR OWN choice. of course, the customer assumes that you will hit the accept button every time and put our head in the oven.

    this is terrifying.

  • cyupon

  • Ok....maybe not "greedy" cause some donate to charities but i still can't fathom how this is legal? There's NO WAY people would get away with such coupon abuse in the UK...it happen's but not to this extreme.

  • Wow....a lot of these snobs actually believe some "divine intervention" had something to do with their greedy obession?! 1. There is no God, 2. if there were a God, why would he give a rats arse about coupons?

  • I really dislike this program because it really portrays the bad side of couponing. These are extreme examples of couponing where people would stockpile thousands of items to a point where it is simply an addiction. I just want you to know that there are many couponers out there who use coupons just to make the groceries affordable for the family. We take what we need, we do not hoard. Unfortunately, in order to help others realize the benefits of couponing, we must show them what's possible.

  • @CouponingHauls I love your comment. I am a single gal in NYC & I use coupons, but not in an extreme way. Just to save money. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • The awkward moment when the top comments are about the exact same thing...

  • I buy what I want regardless of price.

    you should try it.

  • There's nothing wrong with using coupons, but this is a form of hoarding. How many people honestly need 25 bottles of dish soap and 100 containers of deodorant just because it costs 25 cents a piece?

these people ruin shopping for everyone else by clearing shelves of items that others need, raising prices for items, and causing stores to restrict use of coupons by consumers who actually use the items they buy.

  • whos TYT?

  • nice, but they are fucked up im a good/bad way..?

  • This is great :O lol ima do this

  • Dont they see this is actually a waste of food. lets say you have a family of four. with the food they stockpile to feed 100 people. the amount they eat vs. the amount they buy is actually wastefully. they cannot possible eat all that food in time before it expires. So they have to throw that food away because they couldnt eat it in time. It's one thing to do it once and feed off of it for months, but these people go back continually to buy more food. this is dumb.

  • @201stars From what I've seen, a lot of them will give food to their neighbors and the food bank.

  • @funferret7 true, but i did see one where they said how they have to throw away expired food. but yes it's true alot of them do give it away. but whats the point of having 100 bottles of mustard???? how many hotdogs and hamburgers do these people eat to buy 100 bottles of mustard?!?!? 0_o

  • @201stars Haha, I see your point. Maybe they want to make the world's biggest hotdog. ^_^

  • @201stars A lot of the people that buy this stuff in bulk like this end up donating a lot of it to food drives, etc.

  • holy shit!!

  • TYT bought me an Asian whore that can suck some amazing dick oh yeah they also brought me here. SEE WHAT I JUST DID THERE WHY THE FUCK IS IT REVELANT TO ADDRESS HOW YOU GOT TO THE VIDEO OR WHO REFERRED AND WHY THEY FUCK DOES IT GET SO MANY THUMBS. FUCK coupons AND FUCK THE MIDDLE CLASS OBESE PARENTS THAT DO THIS BULLSHIT- random walgreens cashier.

  • @StfuNoobx lol my mom loves to shop at walgreens,

  • @CommedyCommedy Does your Mom extreme coupon?

  • @StfuNoobx

They give the coupons out, so why not use them? But I do agree that it really doesn't matter who sent you here XD

  • TYT

  • If ur gonna slam someone u should get the facts straight first it was $0.42 and I don't understand either lol

  • Tyt. I don't see how the final saving is possible. Most coupons can not be combined with sale or other coupons. Many items are buy x get 1 free. It just doesn't seem right for total to be 67 cents

  • I work at a grocery store as a cashier and these people drive me crazy. Not all of them, but most of them. They are rude, hold up my line over the dumbest reasons. If I tell them just one coupon doesn't work, they throw a fit and my bagger has to dig through the items they already bagged so I can check the product again so I can prove you wrong cause you didn't get your 60 cents savings. Heres my one tip: quit questioning the cashier, we work in the store, we know what can be used and cant.

  • @Introducing123 I agree, a lot of them are whiny snobs

  • @ReservedRealist

my mom has personally been using coupons for 20 years because she had to support 4 kids. she still uses them to save money because things are still tough but she hates extreme couponing because she said the people who do it take like 10 sunday news papers and sometimes just takes the coupons and leaves the papers behind and they just do all of this other stuff. she hates it with a passion.

  • @Introducing123 I shop at Giant Eagle all the time, if I didn't question the d u m b @ $ $ cashiers all the time on things they are WRONG about, I would not get the savings I'm owed!

  • @Neo31rex31 What you don't realize is that we aren't wrong. We are just sick of arguing with you and give you the coupon cause you are holding up our line and we feel bad for the other customers waiting. We risk the chance of getting in trouble so you can have your 50 cents saving. Each store has different rules on coupons that aren't on fine print. Have some respect for the checkers who deal with this all day. I have no problem with saving money. But these people take it to a new extreme.

  • $167 to $.42....40 mins a week...

I feel like a total sucker.
