Roger Moore should have quit playing Bond after For Your Eyes Only, because after that he became tired during Octopussy, and on A View To A Kill it was a massive problem.
@Wadsy591 Roger Moore himself actually tried to retire the Bond role after FYEO. James Brolin was intended to be in Octopussy, but because Connery was returning for Never Say Never Again, Moore was brought back as he was recognizable. I don't know why he stayed for AVTAK, though I've heard that contract points caused it.

Roger Moore was not tired during Octopussy, he was getting older but not tired, A View To A Kill was his last film because he felt he was too old, not because ouch im tired. I know this comment is old but damn. There is no should of or should have, he was Bond and thats that.

Was a shame Dalton didn't do this film. Moore was a good Bond but clearly by the time this movie came out, can tell needed a new Bond.

Timothy Dalton should have done A view to a kill. It's sad Dalton only got to do two Bond films.
