I'd like to know to what extent Patrick Leonard's writing credits apply on this song. I imagine he wrote the beautiful melody, which clearly makes a great song, but is possibly lost a little after Orbit's eccentric production.

I'd like to think if Leonard was to play the tune in a performance (there are post-Madonna examples of Live to Tell and La Isla Bonita on YouTube) that it wouldn't be very far off your arrangement here!

Oh, I remember, I was here before.... 2 months ago or so. I was looking for a playback from Madonna to sing along. Found yours, tried it, but couldn´t sing to it. Your playing is outstanding. It sparkles and reveils the beauty of the melody, but you made it completely your song, so there was no space for Bearly to sing along. :-)))
