Now each of these sub genres break down even further. example: there are many different types of techno including minimal, the same way house has electro house, deep house, tech house, blah blah blah... So technically everyone except the guy who called this house is right. Can we all just enjoy the music now?

But some trance is good, same as everything else. Why does everyone feel they need to label everything, listen to the music and enjoy it if you like it, stop thinking so much.
