Mine is even the cool burst one with the Seymour Duncans like Kris has. Amazing guitar. Its my main recording guitar, I need floyds on all my live guitars XD
Floyds are the shit. They are a hassle, but once you get good and stringing, tuning, and setting up ect they are the best. I could restring and retune a floyd in like 10 minutes at this point if I wanted XD
They are not just for solo's dude, I use em in intro's sometmes, and even just in riffs.
One is a measure of sixteenth notes(open palm muted E string) And then I hit a natural harmonic at the 3rd fret E and pull up on my floyd. Such a badass sound!
You'd be shocked how easy it is to get a guitar with a good floyd. My nephew just pickup up a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR, a 900 dollar guitar, for 450 used in perfect condition from guitar center Boston. So just keep an eye out dude!
that's if you don't clean up your guitar and skip stretching the strings and stuff all the things that actually make a new set of strings worth the hassle. cleaning the fretboard etc.
@darkesthour182311@deathdragon123 he didnt leave he got kicked out his wife hated all he touring..the drummer Ryan told me after thier set at a dillenger show..if you dont believe me i have a picture with all of them
hes already gone son, unfortunately, at least we know wherever he goes if he decides to keep playing that that band will have an amazing lead guitarist
agreed he's a guitarist but i think as a parent that's his 1st priority cause what kind of parent would be gone half of the year and not spend time with their new son? i sure as hell wouldn't even guys like petrucci need a break once in awhile
I read it was because he wanted to start pursuing a career in production, but I dont know if thats why he left. He's been helping out Fierce Allegiance with producing/guest guitar stuff.
@deathdragon123 he didnt leave he got kicked out his wife hated all he touring..the drummer Ryan told me after thier set at a dillenger show..if you dont believe me i have a picture with all of them
hes alot better on album he doesnt recreate his sound enough and i know stuff always sounds better on album then live.. but seriously killswitch has been around for the same amount of time and they have mastered there stage show
@mikizzle16 yeah but the thing is, killswitch isnt technical at all. kris norris's riffs are fucking tough to play. takes a masterful guitarist to play it perfectly.
@mikizzle16 true, but killswitch's music isnt techical. like, at all. norris wrote some pretty technical riffs and sweeps, and i know he didnt do them perfectly but they are pretty fucking hard to do.
i want him back in darkest hour :o

What finish is on that LTD h-1001?
it looks really cool.
AsITimDying 2 years ago
its an H-1000
And its standard
perhaps see through black
as far as I know he dosn't won any custom guitars, lets alone ESP
superjesus117 2 years ago
I did some further research and it's an H-1001
and he painted it himself.
it's the sadist nation artwork on it.
AsITimDying 2 years ago
Where did you find that?
As far as I know he only owns:
2 H1000's
2 Alexi V's
M-II With Maple Fingerboard
KH2
And 2-3 ESP Eclipses
superjesus117 2 years ago
Actually ur right, it is the H-1001 headstock, it wasn't until I was just playing my own H-1000 that I noticed the headstocks are different.
superjesus117 2 years ago
Lol... let's trade :P I've been dying to look for a h1000, but it was nowhere to be found around here lol.
oh well... was cool 'youtubing' with ya ;P
AsITimDying 2 years ago
Yea, the H1000's destroy the H1001s!
Mine is even the cool burst one with the Seymour Duncans like Kris has. Amazing guitar. Its my main recording guitar, I need floyds on all my live guitars XD

No way... burst one rocks srsly... :[
anyway, i hate floyds ;P i don't play solo's.. YET !
i've only been playin' for like 10 months so haha.
AsITimDying 2 years ago

superjesus117 2 years ago
that's pretty awesome ;P but until I begin to like solos over the rest of a song there ain't no floyd on my guitar ;P
AsITimDying 2 years ago

true that ;P i'll just have to stick with bends for now xD
AsITimDying 2 years ago

superjesus117 2 years ago
awesome !! but I think my next guitar will be a 7 string c7 hellraiser ;P without floyd xD
AsITimDying 2 years ago
If you have only been playing for 10 months is a $850 guitar really necessary?
superjesus117 2 years ago
lol... well to be honest... the h-1001 plays like a dream ;P so i'm glad I have it :'D
AsITimDying 2 years ago
that's if you don't clean up your guitar and skip stretching the strings and stuff all the things that actually make a new set of strings worth the hassle. cleaning the fretboard etc.
brandon5pennies 2 years ago
I consider stretching to be part of stringing, and I am always cleaning up my guitars, so I usually don't need to when changing
superjesus117 2 years ago
I still can't believe that Kris is gone :(
I'm so glad that I got to see them live before he left. Amazing show.
