Long nights playing with my friends as we killed each other mercilessly. First Halo I ever played. Got me so sucked into the series, I made it my favorite. Sure, I enjoy CoD once in a while, but it'll never truly take Halo's place in my heart. Here's to Bungie.

From Halo 1 to Anniversary it'll still be the greatest video game series I've ever played in my entire childhood and life <3. I have been a true halo fan. I've played CE- all the way to Reach. I've read a few novels and enjoyed every single one. Hearing this song really brought a tear to my eye. Remembering every memory halo has ever offered. The Betrayal of the Prophets, the brutes. Fighting through the flood in High Charity. Dropping feet first into hell, delivering the package. This is a truly remarkable and legendary series.

@DemondarkProductions Yup, I absolutely know the feeling. This was always my favorite song on the menu music - used to leave the game running just to have the menu music playing :) But yup, very depressing to know that we'll never have those times again... and no new game can compare to the greatness we got to enjoy. But we should still be thankful that we even got the chance :)

Combat evolved was my 2nd favorite campaign, next to Halo 2. Halo 2 had the best campaign out of any FPS i've ever played. Halo 3 probably had the most fun multiplayer, i had the most memories playing with my friends on halo 2 and 3. Reach has an OK campaign and a great multiplayer.

They made Jiralhanae look retarded, Sangheili armor looks like something out of a shitty alien horror movie, Unggoy have shitty methane tanks, and Skirmishers look like shittier Kig-Yar.

November 18th, 2004, My brother traded in his Nintendo Gamecube for an original Xbox and a copy of Halo 2, Since then I played Halo 2, even when I didn't have Xbox live, I would still play it, I would play the campaign over and over again, I would play in multiplayer with friends.
January 28th, 2008, I got my first Xbox live account, I played Halo 3, but I went back in Halo 2 every now and again and have fun.
April 14th 2010, Halo 2 Xbox live went down, That was a sad day for me.

But how the town was destroyed you say? Well it was destroyed by the 9th angel, Zeruel, who used it's laser beams from it's eyes to literally destroy Okoyo's home town just 6 minutes before he arrived back home.

You see I made this sad story up where the dates set back on October 21st, 2011, eleven years after the Second Impact in NGE terms :p and that's when Shinji was 10 years old, 4 years before Shinji is the pilot of Evangelion Unit-01. You obviously know that I made the name, Okoyo, up but his last name is Tokomi even his sister's name is Ami (That is referenced to Toradora btw). But in 2015 in NGE, Okoya is the pilot of Unit-07
Sadly, he cries and cries depressingly also emotionally.

So he ran as fast as he could to his home where he saw the entire house almost completely burned and his little sister crawling to him. Then he picked up his sister, immediately trying to put the fire out that is burning her......

My 12 year old cousin was playing cod 3 just like any other kid.I ejected the disk,pissed him off,put in halo 2,went to the level Uprising on co-op,and handed him a controller......

He has not touched the (or in this case,any) COD disk ever since,and still plays Halo 2 with me to this day.He also had a tear in his eye when Halo 2's Xbox live went offline,just as I did.

@Hacksawgrunts101 Just sitting there, Age 6, my dad comes in. Dad says "Do you wanna play xbox?" didnt know what and Xbox was, so he began playing. He handed me a contrller, and that night we beat Halo 2 together. This is my story of how Halo came into my life, and is one of the greatest memories i have. :)

I was bored and I was playing Meme games and I asked my bro if there is something better...then he takes me at the PC and he installs Halo CE...it looked cool to me as start....then I started playing on Easy like a kid standard and then I loved it I was playing Halo till now and never stop and it's a same that I have a friend who stopped playing Halo and plays COD and MW AND curses Halo baldly..):
