I was there that day and thought WTF is with this driver getting out and waving his hands. Apparently he was concerned about the spot where kitty litter was used on the exit of turn 2 from an accident in the Fujitsu V8 series. I bet he's embarrassed now because the race went ahead without a problem.

@fadermatrix92 a lot of these guys are run on a shoestring budget, an off for them eusually meant out of the series for weeks if not the entire season. The guy who got out of his car knew this and was protecting the drivers from themsevles. ultimately starting a race with a dodgey track isnt bright but the race controllers make their calls for a living. I live 10minutes from this circuit, its not the nicest to be driving on at such high speeds being 1 of australias fastest avg's

@lynel1985 I know what you mean! I dont race a circuit like this but I do race a round track aspault. I am on a shoestring budget and its all can do to keep up with the other racers because of it. They go MONTHS without paying thier bills but I make dang sure my bills are paid before I even consider racing.
