Tiamia, just go to PSN and look in the PS1 section of the download store. It's $9.99 there and you can run it on PSP or PS3. The emulation is spot-on as well since Sony did it themselves. Now if only they would actually release Threads Of Fate as well...

I have ffix on my psp, its just when i hit new game, the opening scene doesn't have sound, but the sound returns after the opening scene ends, any way to fix this? i don't want to continue playing it and it end up not playing sound for all cut scene's.

I have a Multi-Disk eboot apparantly, it's 1.76 Gigabytes.

but when i hit home, like.. to 'test' on the screen with the two options 'new game' and 'continue', switch disks is greyed out.

does this mean i wont be able to change disks when the point comes and this eboot is useless?.. or the opposite?

Instead of going to "Change discs" go to "Reset game", there you should have the option of inserting a new disc if you want to.

Upgraded to 5.00 m33-3. Got popsloader for 5.00 m33-3. Same thing. Game freezes in Dead Forest. Please someone help me. I'm clueless....

You're using OE=A? I don't really know what the difference is between the two.

I have Legacy of Kain: SR, MGS, Crash Bandicoot2, and Resident Evil 2, all run perfect with 4.1 m33-2. How old is OE-A, and are there many revisions?

I have 3.90 m33-3 and and the disk for FFix and have tried many different ISO makers and POPS loaders and in all casses I can't the game to work past the menu screen. Any Ideas? If you have an Idea and need more system info just let me know.

for the aspect ratio: when in game press home button, then settings and u will find a bunch of things to charge, and there is an option named "screen ratio"

First of all did you make the Eboot using POPStation Gui or what ?? If so don't worry about ID when finishing Disc 1 save game, then insert Disc 2 Eboot in your PSP/Game folder and run it. Load Start of Disc 2 Save File and there you go ;) Hope this helps

Yep, the problem with the PAL version is the copy protection. I've managed to get around it, so now I have a working PAL version on my psp. :)

If anyone wants to know how to do it, then send me a message.

Note that this is a legal process, as long as you own an original copy of the game.

So this is the ntsc version of ffix? I've also been trying to get the pal version to work, but am having the same problems as other people. I've tried different compression rates etc, but no luck.

Kinda expected this, since there were issues with running it on a pc with an emulator.

Can you confirm that this is ntsc? I guess I'll download the ntsc version.

I've managed to find the problem. It seems that the PAL version has some sort of copy protection, that stops pirates from distributing illegal copies. This also messes with emulators.

what type of image file is is? iso, bin, mds, img? what i would do is to mount the image w/MagicDisc and then use Popstation4 to make an iso file and then run the iso file through popstation. thats how i make/convert all of my PSone games

hmmm.. did you use the proprer GAMEID for the Pal version? i did gran turismo pal version fine but had to use the proper gameid in popstation for the pal version. also, what level of compression are you using? i'd recommend using 0 to see if it works then or not.
