This is obviously links worst stage (although peaches castle is pretty shitty too with no ledges) but i have to say, takamitsu is the only player i've seen so far who shows even a glimmer of the special ingenuity that separates isai from everyone else on the planet.

As abysmal as Link's recovery is in Brawl, its far worse here. At least in Brawl, he has more distance vertical and horizontal, auto ledge grab, and tether tricks (the tether is actually really short, but he can mind game with it).

i think link played better tan luigi under the circumstances. link has a alright recovery move, but its not all that good on this stage. but isai was still pwning luigi. but cuddoes to the luigi plyer for commin out on top. awesome match....didnt think isai wud lose tho..

Nice win for Takamitsu, but Isai would have absolutely pwned his Luigi with Link if this were on Hyrule. Link gets so screwed on this stage by his awful recovery. he's bottom tier on this stage, but I would say high mid tier on Hyrule, or any large stage.

Tiers=silly. You probably only feel luigi is better because he is easier to use than link. Pika, kirby and CF are probably the easiest to be effective with, which is why they are all at the top. One missed cancel with link and he can be dead and he has a terrible save. Luigi has a terrible jump and is relatively slow; he is an easy target for projectiles. Luigi may have a slight advantage on THIS level, but it was also brilliantly played. So takamitsu wins 1/30 matches, wtf is the big deal?

i agree with most of it, but its def a fact that some characters are better than others, though link is def way better than people give him credit for. pikachu for example has rediculous priority, recovery and knockback on bair and upair and range with fsmash, good speed and great throwing. also many moves combo into each other.

I don't know why everyone puts Luigi as a bottom tier. Luigi is much better than Link in a lot of different ways, especially recovering (off the ledge), recovering (after getting hit), and grabbing. It's very hard to combo Luigi because of his recovery. It's like Jiggly or Samus.

I don't care if they're both bottom tiers, Luigi is still miles away from Link as a character.

the luigi finish at about 3:09 was AMAZING. I don't know muchabout aab, but i do know in air up B sweetspots are mad hard in ssbm, especially one's that are so quick like that.
