I grew up on the Lennon Sisters, and now they're grandmother types. Too cute!

I did too, and grew up with them, literally. Went to same school and church with them in Venice, CA. They are a great and I have enjoyed the friendship of that entire family.

I always thought it was my mom's secret wish that I end up marrying Janet- the little one- even tho she's about 8 years my senior. For some reason, Mom was bent on me ending up with an NICG (Nice Irish Catholic Girl). Married a practical German gal, tho--and she & Mom got along just fine.

Janet will always be special to me, however. Perhaps because she was the "little kid", I related to her, and she made those Lawrence Welk broadcasts bearable for me.
