Maybe I'm completely ignorant, but it is my belief that ballet and other sorts of classical arts of dance and movement should not be mixed with badly timed pelvis thrusts. But maybe that's just me... :P

That would mean that ballet would never have evolved in its 400 years of existence had choreographers never tinkered and played around with the vocabulary of their time.

No pelvic movements means no Balanchine, or William Forsythe to name but a couple of the worlds greatest...

Almost all inovators in so called classical arts have been labeled as perversive and contrary to their art at some stage...
