@bromber1000 : For the centre when i cannot reach by hand i use a special robotic like grip extended mehcanical arm that can lift from a klicky to a small sabo :-)

Reference the question on cost its impossible to say as i have being buying such playmobil since the late 70s and many of these old sets are incorporated in that set up , all these were bought over 30+ years so hard to say. As for the knights on the walls , i agree it looks weird but i plan to put even more knights on the walls ( if possible ) , i still have over 100 of those standard black lion guards in a bag waiting to be set ....
