@Cheisu If you'd take notice of the people on the right of the stage, I believe they are showing illustrations of humorous/ironic nature relating to the song, thus why the audience is laughing.

Also, I wouldn't say Evelyn Evelyn is a serious band. It's not serious - it's not entirely funny. It's more of Dark Humor if we have to categorize it.

But on the contrary, we're both wrong. You can't just categorize an artist's music - you don't know what their purpose in writing it was c:

Annnnnnd you think you're some sort of all-knowing being who thinks he's really "deep" and can see the "beauty and comedy in tragedy" and all that other BS? Well let me tell you something: you're wrong. Evelyn Evelyn's songs are not meant to be funny (no matter which way you analyze it) and aren't meant to be ironic. While the fictional story of the Evelyn Sisters can bring about Laughter occasionally, laughing at every second word is nothing more than a nuisance.
