So Rare[Jimmy Dorsey] and the Route 66 Theme[Nelson Riddle]are two of my favorite songs.I heard them when they came out and still love them.My ex-sister in law[now deceased]only drove Cadillacs.Great videos.
As a 13 year old I can remember sitting in the dentists waiting room in Beaumont St Oxford looking at these wonderful machines in the car magazines that the dentist would leave on his table. They seemed impossibly huge and glamourous and I knew somewhere there was a lifestyle that I could only dream about. Thanks for putting this together its certainly recaptured some of those day dreams I had as a boy.
Wonderful video!!! This is back when they built real cars that ran forever and got good gas milage without all of the electronic this, computerized that and digital everythingelse that needlessly drives up the costs today.

New standard of the world. First choice- where choice is unrestricted.
The new standard of the world in majesty! The new standard in the world in splendor. The new standard of the world in supremacy.

@balkster The good ol' "Theme From Route 66" by Nelson Riddle & His Orchestra. And a wonderful choice it is too.
