@mrceebees14 thats what i think too... but i think our city owns the right to the SuperSonics name and colors, i really hope we dont have to redo the colors and name of our team.. would that pretty much get rid of all our history? with the retired jerseys, championship, playoff appearences, conference titles, and division titles?

@Sonicsgate The film was great. I can definitely see why the SS fans are pissed off, but ultimately the team was costing both the owner AND the state money. The NBA is a business and if the fans supported more these past 10 yrs maybe shit would've been different. Couldnt get the taxpayers votes for a stadium which hurt. You can blame Shultz, Stern, and Bennett all you want but the majority of your ppl didnt vote for it. In the end its all about the dollars. KD looked good in green tho......

@Skittles658 well Lakers came to L.A. from Minneapolis, so yea they can move, as sonicsgate said as NBA is the way it is now, NO TEAM IS SAFE, look at Supersonics, 10 years ago if someone would have said to you, that Sonics will move, they would have put a finger to their heads and turned it around ( it indicates crazy ). Supersonics are a lot, a lot like Blazers, except Blazers ownership was not fucked up, otherwise it's almost the same. Both won championships both have more then 40YearsHistory
