@mrfatd Nah, dude, you don't get shit! Everything is ice fucking cold and you have to walk around in your socks on cold cement through the whole processing (and if you weren't wearing socks brrrrr). You get booked, then you get your wristband which indicates to what cell you'll be going to and then you'll go to you're cell and after that door slams shut and then gets locked... Man, you know you fucked-up! It's just you and your thoughts and a whole heap of regret! It sucks gorilla balls, man

Here you have a normal bed, window, table, radio, tv and sometimes you can have a pet.

We dont really have extremely rich people. Rich people have to pay very high taxes ^^ The money is split equally in the netherlands. Even the president gets paid just 300.000 I believe.

@StlyDutch Jesus F'n Christ, dude, you should of see cells in California. I'm no punk and I like to consider myself as someone who has very resolute will-power but I could easily see how those cold walls could break you! It's brick, cement and a constant air conditioner breathing down upon you... however advanced the States may be in other aspects of its culture and society, I can tell'ya first-hand, the jail enviroment is very barbaric and antiquated...

@D3TOX3R Those prisons create criminals and definitely don't improve behavior. The US should come see our prisons and learn from it.

In the Netherlands the punishment is losing your freedom, not the other stuff around it.. You can have a pet, tv, radio, privacy, theres a ''make out room'' where you can have visitors (like your wife) without any guards and it's even somewhat safe. It still sucks though because you're locked up.

@D3TOX3R Once you've done your time in jail, most people have to go through TBS. Which means you go to some sort of mental institution and get therapy and get help for whatever issues you have. You learn how to handle your anger and stuff, and what you can do to prevent ending up in prison again.

"JAILS AND CRUELTY" what the heck are you talking about?! France has prisons too, all this was was a regular prison, the french ones probably look the same or worse. Second of all, my biggest problem is you calling it "American" There are MANY more stricter justice systems in the world, where "INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY" does not exist, and punishments include being beaten, slapped with a belt, etc. Stop being like all the other stupid punks and blaming everything on the USA, because it is big
