its WAY more tech than that dude. Spring rates, valving, vehicle weight, unsprung weight, compression and rebound settings, bypasses...it always depends on what your running and how many goodies you can afford..lol.

what do you do for chassis set ups? im not sure of all the classes and rules you have but do you have a total aftermarket chassis with round tubing or what ever or do you just get a truck off the street rip it all the way do and reinforce the hell out of everything and make all the roll cages and stuff...

Well..It depends whether your running spec for SCORE, MDR, etc...they have entire books dedicated to whats needed to conform and race. Healthy weekend warrior...Buy a decent truck..jackstand it...tear down and build! Clean cuts..good welds and good advice! Money is always a great motivater as well. Shit gets expensive fast. Mild mods can be done to achieve good fun...bigger is better but more expensive.

lol, yea the burg sucks ass. unfortunatly, i have a bunch of friends that work there. im jk, im not 16, im 23 now, was 21 in the vid. had the truck since 03 when i was a senior in high school. truck was built by an old school racer in cherry valley, but i linked it, equallength beams, cross over steering, c/o-b/p/bump each corner, sway bar, gps, custom aluminum dash, new paint, new glass, new motor, ummm... beadlocks.. basically every buzz word you can think of, took a looong time though...

trucks top speed that day was about 74, average was 60+. truck now has new motor, new front clip, new rear end, all new shocks and a bunch of stuff. gonna be racing the MDR nite race on the 16th of AUG, wish me luck! 3rd season of racing!

single cab longbed = greatest wheelbase invented for ranger/small pickups. wouldnt change it for nothing(unless i shortened an extended cab up).

truck is getting a SOHC here pretty soon. i just got done racing the Battle At Primm last weekend, and got 5th out of 32!!!

we did about 55 to 70ish most of the time. the truck has a tired v6 4.0. i rolled the truck a few years bcak and was getting the cab and door fixed so thats why there is a green door. the camera footage is actually really good, just my editing program sucks. you can see dvd quality footage on the SUD productions video "Built From Nothing"
