Champ is in my estimation #4 cuz, ur right, his tech. is very solid and he can tackle really well, not to mention he still blankets receivers effectively. Woodson is a zone-monster, i would play him at safety everytime!

i dont know who better..very hard to figure out..this year revis simply looks better because he got thrown to more and of course he locked shit down..asomugha well QBs rarely threw to him this year..so very hard for him to get any stats but hey he still doing his job and shutting down that receiver he covering cause they aint even throwing his way..

Asante Samuel hands down is the best cornerback in the NFL, not only does he shut the opposing receiever down he has a insane amount of interceptions in the last 5 years, 7 this yr in ten games n he missed a game 2. WOW .

yea but have u seen sanders bait (which is how u spell it haha NHF) go wrong? Ive seen it happen several times. Its when he misjudged the QB on the baiting and the QB burned him because the QB is better than he thinks. Mostly because he baits too far off and trusts his speed too much (he is FAST AS FUCK tho). Ill tell u who i believe does a better job at baiting- Ed Reed. Hes a safety tho and easier to bait as safety. Deion was a cornerback. They rarely get to sit back.

@marcayes Well obviously Samuel is great but not enough to cover Britt i guess (lol)... But anyway, i think u mention what his weakness is. So by ur own critique its safe to say he ISNT the best...the 'elite' corners in the NFL can actually tackle and help out in run-support (i.e. Nnamdi, Revis, & Woodson, tec.). How can a corner be the best if he cant tackle 'big' players? His interceptions ostensibly come from ZONES and anticipation.

Look theres a reason he has been on 3 different teams in his career and its not the fact that he likes to travel around the country...Hes not 1 of the best for the following reasons: cant cover consistently, hot-headed, incredibly stupid (has been fined a bunch of times), and the glaringly obvious, a detriment to his teams (hence the constant moving-around!).

(solid) woodson is solid in every aspect, champ has the best technique an is solid but lacks top speed ala chambers smokin him on a straight go route. nnamdi best in press, terrible play recognition in zone, revis is incredible but lacks top speed.

@dhall23wayz I agree wit many of ur points. but: Revis is the best at press, along wit finnegan(whos borderline 'dirty'), at jamming receivers at the line like no other...Nnamdi in my opinion is the best at literally 'covering' a receiver (many cover well, but not like Nnamdi). Champ is in my estimation #4 cuz, ur right, his tech. is very solid and he can tackle really well, not to mention he still blankets receivers effectively. Woodson is a zone-monster, i would play him at safety everytime!

Matter of fact it cost his team this past wkend (against the dolphins). moreover, i think that woodson, revis, and nnamdi r exceptional at reading the QB and knowing what the receivers route will be...bailey also! but i dont think woodson 'blankets' the way he did early in his career wit oakland.
